When Questioned About Conflict of Interest, Gwen Ifill Plays The Race Card

Huffington Post
When conservatives questioned Gwen Ifill's ability to be fair when moderating a debate which affects the outcome of the candidate she supports in an upcoming book, considering sales of that book are in large part determined by whether or not the candidate she supports is elected, she responds with...
"Do you think they made the same assumptions about Lou Cannon (who is white) when he wrote his book about Reagan?" said Ifill, who is black. Asked if there were racial motives at play, she said, "I don't know what it is. I find it curious."

No Gwen, we don't care if your candidate is green and purple striped, we are questioning your ability to not let book sales get in the way of your ability to be fair. But now that you tossed out the race card where it has no place whatsoever, we can see that in fact you probably can't be fair.
