Terrorists Cheer for Democrat Win

Al Jazeera (and others) report that Islamic radicals in the middle-east are praising American voters for “defeating and rejecting Bush’s failed policies” following yesterday’s midterm elections.
This is all that really needs to be said about yesterday’s big Democrat victory(s), (UPDATE: but here's more)

But I can’t resist digging deeper.

How miserable is your political party when you have the enemy of your country cheering for your victrory as a sign that they have won the "hearts and minds" of Americans?

Terrorists are cheering because Democrats have been championing their cause since 2003 and they believe all of the Democrat rhetoric and benefit from it. (Is the above photo from Al Jazeera or a Democrat rally?)

Islamic throat-cutting fascists know that a Democrat win is a win for Islamic throat-cutting fascists.

How so? They have been doing this for a while now.

They believed Democrats when they said “this is a war America cannot win”.

They believe Democrats when they say America must get out of Iraq (cut and run) ASAP.

They agree with John Kerry and think our troops are uneducated idiots.

They agree with Democrats who want to let them phone America without the CIA/NSA/FBI etc listening in on their calls.

They love the fact that Democrats want to give them a free lawyer and full US citizenship rights if captured while trying to kill US troops.

They repeat Democrat talking points (almost word for word) in their speeches when they say that America is the problem in the world and should concentrate on our own healthcare system and feeding the poor instead of the war on terror in Iraq.

What is this so-called New Direction?
If siding with the enemy of America during a time of war is Democrats idea of a “New Direction” then “God help us”.

How can Democrats be proud when their victory is considered even more of a victory by America’s enemy? (Islamic throat-cutting fascists)

It’s easy to understand why terrorists would support Democrats, but why would American voters?

"Props" go to CNN, MSNBC, ABC News, CBS News, NBC News, Jon Stewart, David Letterman, Whoopie Goldberg, Sean Penn, Rosie O'Donnell, The Dixie Chicks, Bill Mahr, Al Franken, Michael Moore and the NY Times and virtually every other liberal newspaper.(All of whom are cheering along with the terrorists)

Now, what happens if America doesn’t live-up to Democrats promises to “cut and run”?

The problem is that liberals in America have eagerly let yourselves be used as “useful Idiots” in order to bring down Bush. The plan is to kill you along with the rest of us when the time comes.

Yesterday was a victory for all of you useful idiots who claim to be smarter than everyone else and a victory for the terrorists who played you like idiots against your own government.

Congratulations on your "victory".

One other interesting note:
Democrats and all the news media talking about nothing but rampant voter fraud and problems with the voting process for days and even on election day right up until the time Democrats started winning, then suddenly no further mention by anyone anywhere of ANY problems with the count. Hmmmmmm
Had Democrats lost, we would be knee-deep in lawyers right now.
I'm just sayin'...

I wonder what it said to the terrorists when Republicans ditched Rumsfeld.

If you are interested in a view of the inside of the Pentagon procurement process from Vietnam to Iraq please check this morning's posting at my blog.

The Pentagon is a giant, incredibly complex
establishment, budgeted in excess of $500B per year. The Rumsfelds, the Adminisitrations and the Congresses come and go but the real machinery of policy and procurement keeps on grinding away, presenting the politicos who arrive with detail and alternatives slanted to perpetuate the machine.

How can any newcomer, be he a President, a Congressman or even the Sec. Def. to be - Mr. Gates- understand such complexity, particulary if heretofore he has not had the clearance to get the full details. Answer- he can't. Therefor he accepts the alternatives provided by the career establishment that never goes away and he hopes he makes the right choices. Or he is influenced by a lobbyist or two representing companies in his district or special interest groups.

From a practical standpoint, policy and war decisions are made far below the levels of the talking heads who take the heat or the credit for the results.

This situation is unfortunate but it is ablsolute fact. Take it from one who has been to war and worked in the establishment.

This giant policy making and war machine will eventually come apart and have to be put back together to operate smaller, leaner and on less fuel. But that won't happen unitil it hits a brick wall at high speed.

We will then have to run a Volkswagon instead of a Caddy and get along somehow. We better start practicing now and get off our high horse. Our golden aura in the world is beginning to dull from arrogance.

okie, the terroristst don't see it as Republicans ditching Rummy, they see it as a result of white-flag waiving Democrats winning the election.
In spite of your efforts, Rumsfeld may turn out to be remembered as great as Churchhill.

The al qaeda top guy in IRAQ (yes libs there is al qaeda in iraq) praised Americans for voting to retreat and admit defeat as the next step toward Islam taking over the world.

You guys just don't get it. Democrats are helping the enemy for your own personal political gain.
Take off your BUSH hating glasses for 5 seconds and "save the planet".

That is a cause you libs should be able to get behind except that you might have to agree with uhhhhhgggg George Bush, and that can't happen.

Forget about big government-little government, taxes, abortion, gay marriage and all that stuff for long enough to see that the future of ALL that stuff is on the line.

If they get their way, (and you are helping them) none of the issues you believe in will be tolerated

Useful idiots.

no shame whatsoever, just the relentless pursuit of political control.

seriously, you're comparing the democrats to the terrorists? it is rhetoric just like this that drove "the people" to the polls in search of something different. they certainly weren't voting for a position, as all the democrats really had to offer was that they weren't republicans. and no, i'm not a democrat.

as far as helpng the enemy goes, who trained bin laden? hwo sent money to the taliban in the months before 9/11? who armed and trained a good majority of terrorist groups?

and (supergirl) who wants to kill him and who wants to let him get free peak time phone calls to the US? wake up.

I didn't compare Democrats to terrorists.
I said that terrorists support democrats because democrats support terrorists in that they both have the same enemy- "George W Bush".

The policy of giving funding to the enemies of our enemies can be tied to both parties.
The question now and for the future is which party recognizes the threat to America is not Americans.

If democrats don't stick it out and win in Iraq, future generations will criticize it much more than we are criticizing the old policy mentioned above- I assure you.

As far as the voters go, they come and they go. The dems got elected by pretending to be Republicans in key states.(according to Nancy Pelosi)
We'll see how Dems do in 08.

i'm awake. wide awake. your correlation between democrats and terrorists does imply that you think they are one and the same.

now you're saying that iraq has something to do with bin laden? you do realize that saddam hussein hated bin laden - and visa versa, right?

you can no more win a war than you can win an earthquake. good luck with that.

girl, I'm trying to help get you into this century.

Bin Laden says he has something to do with Iraq... in case you hadn't noticed, Saddam is out of the picture.

They may have "hated" each other as you suggest, but one thing is for sure... they each hated America more.

YOu can sit around like the other braindead Democrats and discuss who knew what when and whether or not Iraq is Vietnam etc etc.... but in the meantime the world has moved on and Iraq is the primary battlefront with ISLAMIC FASCISTS.

Are you familiar with the term "useful idiot"?

By sticking your head in the sand, ignoring the war that is going on now and only focusing on hating Bush, you are putting yourself in that group.... like it or not.

Sorry but that is the fact.
Democrats see Bush as more of an enemy than the people wanting to slit your throat.
embrace it, it is their position.

fascism is fascism no matter how you paint it - no matter where it comes from. the erosion of civil liberties alone that has occured within this century is detestable. i don't see fundamentalist islam shredding the bill of rights and promoting the spying on of american citizens. i thought that republicans were supposed to be for less government interference, not the maximum that we're seeing today?

by the way, i don't hate bush, i don't know him. i'm guessing, neither do you. i don't care for this administration's policy. two different things.

if it makes it all easier for you to lump me into some neat little category and call names, then, so be it. you've gotta do what you've gotta do. but all that does is keep us away from an intelligent, respectful conversation that we could be having instead. us and them will only get you so far.

you've talked with bin laden?

as for what's happening right now in iraq, the infighting, is old news. they knew that those two groups would be going at it full force after we went in. it's called geopolitics. and this war is nothing more than geo-political positioning with other "benefits."

the bush administration is proving itself to be more of an immediate threat than the throat slitting terrorists on our constitution. embrace that. again, i can't speak for the d's. i'm not one.

supergirl in denial.
If Your not a dem but you echo all their talking points, makes you a "useful idiot".

No I haven't spoken to Bin Laden, but he has spoken to me (and you).
The difference is that I am not covering my ears and eyes in order to further my political agenda.

Whats happening in Iraq is not mere "infighting". This is where your BUSH HATING (admit it) blinds you from what is happening.

The so called "in-fighting" is being caused by islamic radical fascist terrorists. They are killing Iraqi's on both sides to provoke civil war.

If you really are against fascism as you claim, then you are against pulling out of Iraq and turning it over to fascists.

You are more worried about the constitution than protecting the people the constitution was written by. Americans.

If Democrats and the Islamic fascists get their way, the constitution will cease to exist.

So, if you really want to defend the Constitution (as you claim) then get behind defeating the fascists who want to not only tear up the constitution but kill people like you (and me) in the process.

Pull your head out of the sand and look beyond BUSH HATRED, there is a far greater danger- I assure you.

But, that wouldn't serve your purpose would it?

Your purpose is to ignore Democrat hypocricy while focusing on talking points designed to encourage your lack of understanding of the issues and make it easy for you to hate Bush and claim you simply "disagree with his policies".

Your purpose is discontent and criticism without regard for right and wrong or loyalty to Country.
Your purpose is Anti-American rage Without any plan or ideas for how things should be done.

ie: Useful idiot.

perhaps you will go back and read what the founding fathers had to say about democracy. what you are proposing as a "plan" would make mussolini proud.

you have no idea what my "plans" and "ideas" are - and you clearly have no interest in hearing them, as you've already written me off as a useful idiot.

ignoring the democrats hipocricy? the same could be said for you ignoring the hipocrisy of the republicans, but, please. i call them to the mat when need be as well. as i've said, there is little or no difference between the r's and the d's.

talking points? you're straight off of o'reilly. anti-american? this is tired and old and extremely passe - someday "the right" will have to find something else to fall back on other than anyone critising being labeled anti-american. as if i'm against myself. i'm an american, through and through - and horrified by what is being done in my name. loyalty? i want the america that i was taught that i had in school.

i noticed your latest blog in which you accuse liberals of name calling - pot, meet kettle - black. take your own advice. there is nothing respectful about calling me an idiot. realize that you are doing the exact thing that you're being so critical of.

how many times do i have to say i don't hate bush? i have no problem understanding the issues.

as i can see this isn't going anywhere, and i'd hoped for some honest, respectful discussion, i'll bow out. see? you don't even need to do what you claim liberal bloggers do to you - you can just bully everyone who doesn't think exactly as you do until they leave.

i hope you find some peace - and a place to put your own hatred and anger. really, i do. it isn't healthy.

So, apparently I am weirded-out/repulsed/frightened/offended by your red-state values/views/ideas and you are of my blue state ones (actually, I live in Kansas). Neither of us (or our people) are going anywhere. Where do we go from here as a people/nation?

thanks supergirl, but as long as you don't see any difference between those that want to defend the country and those who want to negotiate freedom away to terrorists, then you are right.

I didn't call you an idiot. why don't you go back and take a look at what a useful idiot is and I will take a peek at what our "founding fathers" thought about treason.

deal?

and to dirt monkey... i guess you are right. no one should debate the issues. we should all agree on everything (just like our founding fathers did).

It's funny (not ha-ha funny) how liberals wanted to criticize and debate Bush for the past 6 years and the instant Democrats get control... the debate needs to stop.

sure thing.
(lol)
