Fox Fights Fake News with Fake News

The number one cable news network served notice to Comedy Central's Daily Show and the Colbert Report tonight with it's own comedy news parody program "The Half Hour News Hour".

Opening the first show with a segment featuring the most listened to talk radio host on the planet and the most hated female conservative author on the planet as President and VP, the Half Hour News Hour is certain to be a hit among conservatives hungry for comedy that pokes fun at liberals and Democrats, global warming, terrorists, Hollywood and the ACLU.

While some segments seemed a little stiff and forced, most were dead-on like the T-Shirt salesman offering shirts that say "Shiite Happens" (Ahmadinejad) and "No Fat Chicks" (Kim Jung Ill) and the ACLU spots. The 6 degrees to Global Warming segment was also good and has potential for future updates and skits. With a little tweaking, this show could be huge.

I can't wait to see how the left scrambles to discredit and diminish the right-leaning comedy news show while praising and applauding liberal comedy news programs. It wouldn't surprise me to see them try and force Fox news to take it off the air or offer equal "fair and balanced" time for opposing comedic views. (LOL)

Stay tuned, the Half Hour News Hour could be the next SNL... (for conservatives)!

Yeeee-Haaaawwww Cut N Run !

I received THIS email today (below) from Gov. Yeeee-Haaaaw M.D. (D) further evidence of the ignorance that leading Democrats display while rampantly playing partisan politics with our security. Begging people to "add your name now" to the list of "Cut and Run" Bush haters.
Disgraceful, but here it is.
(Their own words are some of the best reasons to NOT vote Democrat)

From Governor Yeee-Haaaw M.D.:

Dear R Stater,

Today, House Democrats introduced a resolution that, in simple language, represents a vote of no confidence in the Bush Administration's policy in Iraq. This is the first opportunity House Republicans have had to join us and oppose the president's failed policy, and that's sending shockwaves through the White House.

Just like the overwhelming majority of Americans, many Republicans know escalation of the war in Iraq is wrong, and they're willing to break party lines to stop it. As one GOP Congressman from Maryland put it, "my internal soul goes a lot beyond my minuscule political career."

But the Republican leadership is doing everything it can to protect the President's escalation plan by working to get wavering Republicans to tow the party line. That's why we all need to speak up and remind House Republicans where the American people stand -- it's the job of Congress to represent us, and a bipartisan rejection of the White House's plan to escalate our involvement in Iraq will demonstrate just how far this president and the rest of the GOP leadership have drifted from mainstream America.

Remind them by adding your name right now:

http://www.democrats.org/noescalation

This war is no longer what George Bush sold the American people. There are no WMD's in Iraq. Saddam Hussein is dead. Our troops are mired in a deadly, full-blown civil war. And the president couldn't be more out of touch; he wants to escalate our involvement with 21,500 more brave men and women.

The vast majority -- 70% -- of Americans disagree. They demanded a new direction on Iraq in the 2006 elections, and they're demanding that Congress stops this escalation and start ending this war.

The Republican leadership in Congress has put protecting an escalation of the war at the top of their agenda. Senate Republicans refuse to even have a debate about it. For them, it's not about what the American people want -- only what the president thinks he needs. There's one powerful interest silencing Republicans in Congress right now, and it's headquartered at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Add your name now:

http://www.democrats.org/noescalation

For over a decade, the Republican leadership in Congress refused to allow serious debate on important issues, even keeping a muzzle on its members -- and the American people. Here's just a sample of what was ignored, day in and day out:

We have lost enough young people in this war, and we are not winning it with force. The money that we are pouring into Iraq could be educating our young people. They will be the ones that pay for this war.
-- Martha W., CA

President Bush created the mess in Iraq, and al Qaeda was NOT there before we invaded. We keep sending our young men there to be killed but things keep getting worse... We have to find a way for ALL the American people to wake up, see what is happening, and let their voices be heard.
-- Donna M., FL

Those are just a couple of the comments we've received from thousands of Americans. What do you have to add?

It's time for Americans everywhere -- no matter the party -- to stand with the Democrats in Congress and oppose escalation in Iraq.

Thank you,
Governor Howard Dean, M.D.

NHRA Opens '07 Season in Pomona CA

The big news in the National Hot Rod Association at the season opener in Pomona CA is in Funny Car with the debut of rookie driver Ashley Force (pictured) and the return of veteran driver Kenny Bernstein from retirement.

One is young, pretty and stars in her own reality show on TV and the other is... a legend in the sport. Ashley's dad, John Force will be returning looking for his 15th World Championship in the Funny Car division.- no easy feat.

In the Top Fuel Division, Brandon Bernstein will be looking to move up one spot from his second place finish in the 2006 season while Tony Schumacher and the Army T/F Dragster will be trying to repeat the stunning season they capped with a world record ET performance and win to secure the 2006 title at the final race of the season!

Pro-Stock has everyone chasing the Greg Anderson team and Jason Line sponsored by Summit Racing. Look for Jim Yates in the Grumpy Jenkins powered Chevy Cobalt to challenge Anderson and Line.

P/S Motorcycle looks to be another tight battle between the two Army backed bikes of Angelle Sampey and Antron Brown against the Vance & Hines Harley Davidsons led by Andrew Hines and GT Tonglet. Steve Johnson is always a fan and darkhorse favorite.

NHRA Powerade Drag Racing is televised on ESPN2 with coverage beginning this Saturday evening at 9pm Central with eliminations on Sunday 7pm-10pm.

Watch Out For Those Okies In Daytona

Oklahoma Based LB Motorsports Heads Into Daytona With Confidence

After posting the 6th and 12th fastest laps during the December testing at Daytona a few weeks ago, Greg Barnhart and Damon Lusk of LB Motorsports based in Oklahoma City, OK are heading into Thursday’s practice for the 2007 ARCA/Remax Daytona 200 expecting big things at the biggest race of the year.Greg Barnhart in the #85 LB Motorsports Ford Fusion is more than ready after learning that his crew had found even more horsepower on the dyno following his strong performance in the December test sessions which has given the team confidence that they can run up front and win. Greg qualified 5th at Daytona in 2005, made the field again in 2006 and is ready for the challenge along with new teammate Damon Lusk.

Damon Lusk (pictured above) in the #55 LB Motorsports Dodge Charger has NASCAR Nextel Cup, NASCAR Craftsman Truck, as well as 49 ARCA series starts with 2 wins and 10 top-5 finishes. Lusk is looking forward to Daytona following his 5th place finish last year (after leading the race) combined with his performance at the December test session which makes him more than capable of taking the checkered flag. (Fans may also remember Lusk from his appearances on Baywatch, CNN Live, ESPN's Cold Pizza and The Outdoor Channel)

Another crucial key to Daytona success is “help”. While the pit crews can make or break a race, in restrictor plate racing at the tracks of Daytona and Talladega, drafting help is everything. Without the help of your peers, it could make for a long race. Unlike last year, Lusk will have a teammate for the ARCA 200 at Daytona.
”I’m looking forward to working with Greg”, Lusk said quickly. “Drafting help is what kept me from victory lane last year, so to know that I have someone watching my back and vice-versa is a sign of relief. Greg has a very good Ford for Saturday’s race, so a one-two finish is not out the question for LB Motorsports.”

Following the event, Lusk and LB Motorsports will reevaluate their program with hopes of attending the second ARS event at USA International Speedway in Lakeland, Florida. “We have five racecars ready to go, we just need the funding to get us to the track,” stated Lusk. “Hopefully with a good run in Daytona, we can turn some heads and make a championship effort this season.”

The team has been primarily funded by Associate sponsors Panelite (owned by Les Barnhart) in association with Fenton Racing and are now seeking primary or co-primary sponsors for individual ARCA/Remax series races as well as season and multi year packages at all levels.

Panelite is the leading manufacturer of decorative stainless steel accessories for heavy trucks. Fenton Motors Group is one of the largest family owned auto groups in the South with 17 dealerships and 54 franchises nationwide.

Save-A-Load, Inc. has inked with the team for the 2007 ARS (ARCA RE/MAX Series) season opener and will hold primary sponsorship on Lusk’s No. 55 Dodge Charger. The corporation, based in Charlotte, North Carolina specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing the world's finest cargo bracing bars.

The official LB Motorsports website will debut later this week at www.barnhartracing.com provided by NEW Associate Sponsor RJDC.com with information and updates on team activity, appearances and races.

The R Jackson Digital Consortium (Rjdc.com, LLC) is a premier website service company for the Ponca City Area, North Central Oklahoma and anyplace in the world! Providing key services that include design, hosting, domain names and local internet access.

The ARCA 200 at Daytona (80 laps/200 miles) is the first of 23 events on the 2007 ARCA-RE/MAX Series schedule. Practice begins Thursday, February 8 with a five-hour (12:00pm-5:00pm EST) practice session planned. Qualifying is slated for Friday, February 9 at 12:00pm EST. Final practice is limited to 55 minutes (5:15-6:10pm EST) on Friday evening. The ARCA 200 at Daytona will be aired live on the SPEED channel beginning at 4:00pm. Additional race coverage can be found online at arcaracing.com
