America: Not Feeling The Love

A comment by 2007 Oklahoma Political blogger of the Year nominee OklahomaLefty regarding my calling Okie Funk an "America Hater" (see Pinheads for Peace) got me to doing a little looking around at the left in general and their outright HATRED for this country. (More on this below)

Now, doing a list of things Okie Funk hates about America is far too easy, could fill several posts and two minutes at his blog will confirm this for anyone with the stomach.
I think that even Dochoc (Okie Funk) himself would have to agree with me that he absolutely, positively hates George Bush's (and the neocon/Christian right's) America... and in reality, at least for now, George Bush's America is America... in terms of control of policy and in the eyes of the world, like it or not, at least for now) It is safe to say that Okie Funk hates America as it exists currently.

So I thought in this case it might be more fun to point out that Dochoc not only hates America but also hates Oklahoma to the point of urging everyone to be ready to leave the state
ASAP (back in 2006 prior to the election) !

The Oklahoma Theocracy

"The march to a "Theocratic Oklahoma" really sums up what is happening in the state these days". ..."Liberals and conservatives who believe in the separation of church and state need to have escape plans to get out of here. I mean that seriously."

LMAO, and need I remind you, THIS is from a college professor at UCO! Not exactly a ringing endorsement for moving TO Oklahoma, creating new jobs or increasing the economy is it? But for some reason I notice he is still hanging around though.... and still hating (Bush's) America. It probably has something to do with that big fat government paycheck he gets paid with taxes collected from actual working people he claims are creating a Theocratic Oklahoma.

Enough with Dr. Hochenauer... I suspect that if the University learned that he is teaching Liberal Indocrination 101, he might be looking for a new gig.... and a new state if what he says is true.

Here is a short list of statements that (I'm sure Okie Funk would agree with the majority of) are delivered by the official spokesperson(s) of the liberal left and the Democrat party... HOLLYWOOD.

Please to enjoy,

There are plenty more where these came from, the above quotes only go up until 2005... we've got 2 more years of hatred to go just to catch up to the current "General Betrayus" classic plus I haven't even mentioned Rosie O'Donnell or Whoopie Goldberg quotes yet.

Are you feeling the LOVE yet?

Claiming you "love" an "America" that exists only in your head while saying you hate everything about the real America that actually exists... is America hating, like it or not.

Makes ya' just wanna' run out to the nearest movie theater and drop $25-$30 doesn't it?

I may not agree with what these people have to say, but I don't think that all of them hate America. In fact the majority of the people you just quoted are complete and total nut-bars so I have a very hard time taking anything they say seriously. One could find just as outlandish quotes by nut-job conservatives but what's the point? Michael Moore is a looney toon and so is Michael Savage. Anyone with an ounce of sanity would not think that either of those two tools speaks for them. Yes I am name calling because as you have said before Red, sometime you've got to call a spade a spade.

My previous point however is still valid. Just because someone has a drastically different point of view than you do, does not mean he/she hates this country. If that was the case, there were a ton of conservatives who hated America during the Clinton years. It’s okay to flame a President as long as said President is a Democrat, but give a Republican President criticism and you automatically hate America. Crazy talk my friend, crazy talk.

The quotes speak for themselves... pure unadulterated hate.

BIG BIG difference between Michael Moore (who sat in the VIP section of the Democrat convention) and Michael Savage who has a radio talk show... (lol) and thats it.

And dave, it's not about a point of view different from mine unless you consider hating America as a point of view. If so, we agree.

When Clinton was president, not one Republican called our military "murderers). When Clinton was President, not one Republican called our country racist, Not one Republican called him Hitler or a fascist. When Clinton was president all Conservatives did was call him out on his lie (which he finally admitted to) thats it.

GO find the quotes from then that demonstrate conservatives hated America as a result of Bill Clinton and try to fill a page with them like I just did with only a partial list.

Sorry my friend, the crazy talk is coming from your side of the fence.... and I just listed a ton of examples... it's not about disagreeing. It's about hatred from the left and it's true.
Like it or not.

Dave, here is a little experiment for you and anyone else on the left that is playing this "we don't hate" game of yours. (Let's reverse things and bring it home for ya')

If I were to claim that I don't hate you, but in the same sentence say you are "a joke", I hope you get "bombed", You are a liar, You deserved every bad thing that has ever happened to you (and more), you are a racist, you are the terrorist, you are what is wrong with the world, you are fat, lazy, stupid and corrupt and I hope you lose the struggle for your very existence...but I don't HATE you,...I just disagree with you on "the issues" ...what would YOU say then?

Would you apply the "willing suspension of disbelief"?

These people speak for YOU, they bought the Democrat party and they own it, their voice is louder (more shrill) and there are far, far more of them than moderates like you... in fact if they find out how moderate you are, they will turn and "not hate" you right into the ground.

I give up Red. You are a complete and total lost cause. Your reasoning is flawed, your logic is weak, and your conclusions are laughable. You are a blind partisan. You accuse liberals of hating America, yet by your logic and reasoning you obviously hate liberals. You only tolerate me because of my stance on the war. To you, based on what you present in your posts on this blog, everything is black and white; good and bad. Well I’m sorry but the world is just not that neat, tidy, and simple. Your entire blog is filled with contempt and hate for all liberals (and don’t try and argue your positions by saying “well Okie Funk does it” because that kind of argument is just pathetic). You make weak attempts to qualify those statements of hate by using Lieberman and myself as examples of what you see as “good liberals” but even that little gesture doesn’t hold much weight. You like to lump all liberals together because that way it fits into your narrow minded outlook on life. Instead of criticizing individual liberals, you criticize all liberals. Pathetic. I may be alone in this attitude but I am not stupid enough to lump all conservatives together and criticize the whole lot. That is IDIOTIC and anyone who engages in such behavior is also an idiot!

Also, Michael Moore does not speak for me. I speak for me and it’s insulting that you would make such a claim (especially after previously stating that you respect me). I would never insult you by saying that Michael Savage speaks for you, but maybe he does considering you just defended the man.

Oh and on the Brad Henry thing (see a couple of posts down for reference), your reasoning is childish and ridiculous. You have used what I refer to as 1 + 1 = 6 bad logic. You don’t like Henry because he is a Democrat and thus will find any way or any reason to hate him no matter how flawed the reason is.

I’m sure you are going to come back with some truly witty response (that is if you approve my comment. Side Note: What is up with blog that have to “approve” comments? So much for free speech.) and point out what you see as flaws in my arguments and that is fine. I am sick and tired of all of the mindlessness plaguing both sides of the political debate because none of you are doing anything to try to make the world a better place. The reactionary right tells us how evil the liberals are and the looney toon left tells us how evil the conservatives are. Fantastic. No wonder this country is falling apart. Pax Romana here we come.

wow what a rant!
whatever dave, you're right (of course) it's all my fault liberals hate America.

BTW, my comments on Governor pinwheel are sarcasm dave, ...look into it.
NEwSFLASH: Michael Moore and Hollywood does speak for the left... and the left does what Hollywood says. George Soros and moveon.org do claim they own the Democrat party and they have the receipt to prove it.

Sorry I dared criticize America hating liberals for hating America, I'm sure it won't happen again...lol

c'mon dave... grow up.

Liberals don't hate America, that is the point. You just don't get it Red. There is a difference between hating an administration and hating the country. Yes many liberals hate the Bush administration and subsequently many conservatives hated the Clinton administration but that does not mean that any of them hate America.

Also forgive me for not being able to tell the difference between your sarcasm and your hatred of liberals.

You are right about one thing though...people do need to grow up. You, me, Michael Moore, Michael Savage, etc. This entire country needs to grow out of the collective adolescence that we are stuck in.

making excuses, drawing fake comparisons, it's not their fault, what about Clinton, you sound exactly like Allen Colmes..lol.

You didn't participate in my little experiment above did you?
Of course not.

As I said earlier but you probably also skipped over...
"as far as American policy and the world view goes... BUSH IS AMERICA". Just like when Clinton was Prez, to the world, he WAS America.

Now, There is a huge, huge difference between saying the President is a lying whoremonger and saying the President is a lying warmonger.(big difference dave)

A huge difference between saying the President lied to his wife about his "twinkie on the side" and saying the President lied to the world about nuclear weapons and intentionally sent men and women to war to die for no reason.Big-big difference dave.

The world views one as "kinda cool" and the other as Hitler reincarnated... so for you to say the two are the same thing is flat wrong and typical liberal mumbojumbo doublespeak.

During all of the so-called rampant Clinton hatred you mention, Not one Republican went all over Europe and to our enemies claiming America's election process is a fraud, he stole the election, claiming America went to war over lies from the Prez, claiming our President to be Hitler...or worse.
It simply never happened... but it sure happens now, doesn't it dave?

As long as the left (or right as the case may be) is committing what I consider to be acts of near-treason, I have the right and the duty as an American to call them out on it.

You don't have to like it, since I don't require your permission or approval... nor do I expect you to.

However You seem to want me (and conservatives) to debate liberal lies and hatred with candy and flowers... thats crazy...that would be like trying to fight the terrorists with... I dunno... Pinwheels?

*sigh* This is pointless. The fact is Red that conservatives are not batter than liberals and vice versa. You can't see this simple fact so I'll just leave it at that.

Blogger RD said...

I never said conservatives were better (or batter)... but unless you can see the difference between calling Clinton a "ladies man" and calling Bush "hitler" and America racist then indeed it is pointless and indeed one of us is "hopeless".

-BTW are you falling for the latest Democrat scheme to ROB (reform Oklahoma's Ballots) and steal elections that they accuse Republicans of stealing?
