Not sure if Cindy Sheehan was watching or not, but college students in Florida got a lesson in democratic politics and free speech yesterday when a student was tasered (electro-shock therapy) for asking John Kerry an "inappropriate question" and not yielding the microphone. Note that this student was a Kerry SUPPORTER!

What was the lesson, boys and girls?
When you are given the microphone to ask a Democrat candidate a question, remember this important safety tip.
As long as your question (or statement) is an attack on Bush or Republicans or conservatives in general, you may take as long as you like to ramble on and on... and on ...and on...to infinity or until the applause from reporters dies down.
However, if your question (or statement) includes any accountability or difficulty for a Democrat candidate, ....ZAP, you've just been hit with about 50,000 volts!

Lefty blogger Jane Hamsher says plain and clear...(talking about Elizabeth Edwards and other democrats criticizing democrats)

Imagine the screaming outrage if it had been at a conservative event, and the question asker was a Ronbot (Ron Paul supporter) ...the left (main stream media) would be screaming bloody murder, screaming about Bush's police state. But I suspect we will here this .... (cricket noise) unless of course the left can somehow manage to portray this obviously concerned (Kerry supporting) student as an "evil Republican" posing as a Kerry supporter/heckler.

BTW- So, if we apply the "*willing suspension of disbelief" *(accept fiction as truth) to what the left says about Bush, then why didn't someone taser one of those Code Pinko's that showed up at the Petraeus Report hearings and send them on an "all expenses paid" water-boarding vacation at the luxurious Club-Gitmo in beautiful Cuba ...errr I mean on US soil near beautiful Cuba. The Communists would *NEVER allow torture. *(applied again)

Now on the brighter side, if we can just get lib's to treat terrorists like they treat potential voters who question their politics, we can win the war in no time. (and bring the troops home)

UPDATE: Senator John Kerry (D) and Vietnam War protester was also "shocked" at the tasing of an innocent liberal moonbat.

“In 37 years of public appearances, through wars, protests and highly emotional events, I have never had a dialogue end this way,” Kerry said in a statement. “I believe I could have handled the situation without interruption, but I do not know what warnings or other exchanges transpired between the young man and the police prior to his barging to the front of the line and their intervention. I asked the police to allow me to answer the question and was in the process of responding when he was taken into custody.”

“I was not aware that a taser was used until after I left the building,” he continued. “I hope that neither the student nor any of the police were injured. I regret enormously that a good healthy discussion was interrupted.”

So, what exactly were the questions were being posed that resulted in all this?
"Why didn't John Kerry challenge the 2004 election and why haven't they impeached George Bush".
While Senator Kerry (D) pleaded to let him answer the young man's questions.... no one has yet heard those answers.
