JC Watts VP on Romney "Dream Team"

This via blognetnews, the OPNS and full story at Californians for Romney...

Vice President J.C. Watts?

The Oklahoma Political News Service writes...
"Besides winning our Vice Presidential poll question 3 times, there are many reasons for the Romney-Watts ticket. In the classical political sense, Watts helps Romney get votes he otherwise wouldn't get. Watts allows Mitt to run with a former Baptist preacher (not named Huckabee), and gives him a running mate with rock solid conservative credentials. He also brings in what is likely to be an unprecedented percentage of the black vote for the GOP, forcing the Dems to spend money in places they otherwise wouldn't have to. After he's in office JC would be the natural person to put in charge of Romney's education reform policies that include: school choice vouchers, more testing, and more emphasis on math and science."

And just who do the Californians for Romney folks think would be the best Secretary of Defense in a Romney "Dream Team" administration?

"A Vietnam veteran and Army Ranger, Duncan Hunter has served on the House Armed Services Committee for the last 27 years. He is also the author of the Secure Fence act, and has a son who recently returned from a couple of tours of Iraq and is U.S. Marine. No more stupid questions from the media to the Defense Secretary about "would you send your son to Fallajuh?" They would already know the answer.

If Romney is smart he will put together the best conservatives have to offer for his administration, after all as Ronald Reagan said, "Surround yourself with the best people you can find, delegate authority, and don't interfere as long as the policy you've decided upon is being carried out."

That is a serious attention getter!
If it works out to be true, imagine the howls and gnashing of teeth from the Libs!

JC Watts- Could be what saves the whitehouse for us all. Could take race out of the election and place issues and concrete ideas at it's center. O'bama is weakest when forced to have concrete substance.
