America "Hunting" For Benchmark Conservative

We are starting to see more great articles like this on Duncan Hunter, the one true Reagan conservative running for president.

Outspent 200 plus to 1 by the Romney campaign, Duncan Hunter pulls out a third place finish in the Wyoming caucuses. Duncan’s experience and solid campaign platform resonate with the Wyoming people. Lately, it seems most of the candidates (except John McCain head of the Kennedy wing of the Republican party or the Democrats ) are emulating Duncan Hunter’s position on Illegal immigration, Border security and the Border fence.

They will not even touch the China trade imbalance, and currency devaluation or the healthcare crisis and propose a “wait until it destroys our economy strategy”. In lieu of "a chicken in every pot", their campaign slogan is, "a Chinese made car in every garage" or "low paying service jobs for the masses"!

Can you believe that the wife of a liar and a serial adulterer who rented out rooms in the White House to Chinese businessmen is considered a viable Democratic candidate for president? The Clintons catered to Chinese business while reducing the size and quality of our military.

Whatever happened to the Wild West? Whatever happened to honor, dignity, truth, rugged individualism, Americanism, entrepreneurial spirit, or taking care of your own?

Imagine, in just a few short years 10 percent of the GDP will be going to Chinese imports, 20 percent of GDP will be going to healthcare, (drug companies,, insurance companies, and malpractice lawsuits). Every 30 cents made will go to just these two segments, and we haven't even funded the federal government, social security, the DOD or paid the mortgage yet.

Meanwhile, bad trade deals, globalization and corporate greed, will continue to deteriorate our manufacturing base, wage scale, and middle class. Third world currency valuation and their labor camp style wages are bringing our wages down while we improve their standard of living and fund their military infrastructure . I believe Duncan Hunter is the only candidate who identifies this trend. The other candidates are just letting him take the heat for it. A “let them shoot the messenger tactic”. Instead of hard facts and specifics, the other candidates speak in generalities or content less rhetoric oblivious to what is really going on in the world. I take that back, Romney's previous company Bain Capital wants to sell high tech American military technology (3 Com) to the Chinese, and Milton refuses to do anything about it. This seems Clintonesque to me.

I listened to Mr. Huckabee speak in Washington state a few months ago. Using a Bob sled analogy, he stated,"we must steer for the curve ahead"! what curve? The baby boomer curve and massive entitlements, or imported Chinese products absolutely wiping every American product off of every shelf in America, as well as, the globe? Maybe it's the greater globalization curve where Chinese products wipe away any nationally produced manufactured product from any and all shelves in the stores of England, Australia, Germany, France, Italy and all other first world countries. Is this the curve he is planning for ,or overlooking?

China adopted a one child per family policy in the 1980s to control its population. Expectant families could get an ultra sound done at any filthy street corner for pennies. When many couples found that the only child they were authorized to have was to be a female, they aborted it. Boys were considered to be a more valuable gender. They now have a surplus of 65 to 100 million twenty something, unattractive ,stressed out, single males running amok. It is not a stretch that China could outfit a 65 million man army with cheaply made AK47s in a months time, complete with lead based paint.

Our nation was stunned when Sputnik was launched by the Soviets in October of 1957. This event precipitated a arms race which only ended with the collapse of the Soviet Union. The Chinese shot down a weather satellite with a ground based ballistic missile in January of 2007. No other candidate except Duncan Hunter has the capacity to understand the significance of this event. This event could have tremendous Military implications and is a threat to our ability to use GPS based navigation technology across the globe. GPS Nav technology for aircraft, battleships, battlefields, trans oceanic shipping, Air traffic control etc. etc. Throw in an electromagnetic impulse weapon(EMI), and military communication, surveillance ,and navigation capability regresses to somewhere between the Fred Flinstone and WWI era.

So when the odds are 65 million to 3 million, the US "Arsenal of Democracy" must always be on the ready. We must have the latest most advanced weaponry and counter ballistic technology. There is no going back to isolationism, for we are way past that stage.

Jack Nicholson screaming "You want the truth, you cant handle the truth", echoes in the back of my mind as I look at the Iowa results.

Duncan Hunter tells the truth, but then again, true statesman tell the truth, understand trends, and do what is right for the American people.

Another quote for Teddy Roosevelt:

I believe in nationalism as the absolute prerequisite to internationalism. I believe in patriotism as the absolute prerequisite to the larger Americanism. I believe in Americanism because unless our people are good Americans first, America can accomplish little or nothing worth accomplishing for the good of the world as a whole

I think this statement has profound reasoning behind it! It is truer today than it was in 1900.

Duncan Hunter is not a quitter, nor is his small campaign staff.
We understand that Mr. Hunter’s platform of enforceable borders, border fence, enforcing the immigration laws currently on the books, fair trade deals, fair currency valuation, limited government, protecting American jobs, health insurance deregulation, strong military, and America first is the standard by which all other candidates are judged, and we are just getting warmed up.
