Obama's Promise To ACORN In 2007

In December of 2007, Senator Barack Obama told ACORN activists:

"...but let me even say, before I get inaugurated, during the transition, we're gonna be calling all of you in to help us shape the agenda. We're gonna be having meetings all across the country with community organizations so that you have input into the agenda for the next presidency of the United States of America."

ACORN is the radical left-wing group you may have heard of by now. All of the voter fraud stories you've probably heard about - that's ACORN and it's "Project Vote" subsidiary.

ACORN is also culpable in the financial mess the country finds itself in. The ACORN community activists were successful pressuring Congress to force banks to collect racial data on mortgage applicants. Then, using that data, ACORN cried discrimination, forcing banks to grant more and more risky loans.
