Global Warming Keeps Cooling Off....

First we have a story about how the enviro-wacko's on the left led by alGore (invented the Internet too) using bad information i.e. bad data to perpetuate their scam... remember algore owns part of the company that sells carbon credits and tells the rest of us to quit driving our cars while he flies around in a big private jet promoting the global warming scare.

So the global warming hoaxers have been claiming that by this summer (2009) the Arctic Sea Ice would be completely gone.

Arctic Sea Ice Underestimated Due to Faulty Measurements.
Feb. 20 2009 (Bloomberg) -- A glitch in satellite sensors caused scientists to underestimate the extent of Arctic sea ice by 500,000 square kilometers (193,000 square miles), a California- size area, the U.S. National Snow and Ice Data Center said.

The extent of Arctic sea ice is seen as a key measure of how rising temperatures are affecting the Earth. The cap retreated in 2007 to its lowest extent ever and last year posted its second- lowest annual minimum at the end of the yearly melt season.

Arctic Sea Ice Grows To 1979 Levels
01/06/09- Recent satellite photos reveal a vast ice sheet covering the Arctic Ocean. This is a noteworthy development because of concern among some scientists that the Arctic Ice Cap would disappear entirely this year due to predictions of Global Warming.

Reported by the University of Illinois's Arctic Climate Research Center, the study concludes that worldwide sea ice covering is equal to that monitored in 1979, when satellite photos first became available of the Arctic.

Researchers predicted that the thinness of the new Arctic sea ice meant it would melt more quickly. This actually fostered its growth because less snow accumulated on the ice as it grew.
