New Gallop Poll: Majority of Americans Now Consider Themselves "Pro-life"

It's the first time since Gallup began asking the question 14 years ago that more don't say they're 'pro-choice' on abortion.
At a time when President Obama is trying to persuade opponents in the abortion battle that they can find middle ground -- in rhetoric, if not reality -- a new Gallup poll shows that more Americans describe themselves as "pro-life."

For the first time since it began asking the question in 1995, the Gallup Poll reported Thursday, 51% of the American adults questioned for its annual Values and Beliefs survey said that when it comes to abortion, they consider themselves "pro-life." Forty-two percent consider themselves "pro-choice."

"I think this administration has fundamentally miscalculated how out of step they are with the American people on the abortion issue." -Charmaine Yoest, president of Americans United for Life.

Ladies and gentlemen, we are witnessing the beginning of the end of the Obama era, the tide is starting to shift, the pendulum starting to swing back to the right as abortion is the cornerstone of the Democrat party. Gun owners are starting to revolt and push back, the tea parties are growing as Americans are fed up with tax increases and out of control spending, the Christian right is rising up against policy after policy that offends the senses.... hide and watch folks, 2010 and 2012 are gonna be open season on Democrats.
