WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama warned Thursday that if Congress doesn't deliver health care legislation by the end of the year, the opportunity will be lost, a plea to political supporters to pressure lawmakers to act. "If we don't get it done this year, we're not going to get it done," Obama told supporters by phone as he flew home on Air Force One from a West Coast fundraising trip.

I read the quote in this morning's paper myself.
I also read an article in the same paper about how some think we should model the national system like the systems of Massachusetts and/or Tennessee. I read over those plans. Did not get excited over either one.
Yup even though the Massachusetts healthcare program was partially Mitt Romney's deal... I oppose(d) it. If you don't sign up for one of their plans, they take it out of your income tax return anyway.
Yeah. I read that too. That's a load of horse crap.
The one in Tennessee did not seem AS bad but still not worth a crap in my opinion.
Honestly otter... there is not a government run healthcare system worth a dime anywhere on the planet.
Look at the job our government has done with VA hospitals... some of the worst in the country.
