I was wondering who the "mysterious 8" were.
I have not really read a whole lot about this bill so anything I say would be completely ignorant.
However, from the very little I have heard and very little I have read, it sounds like it was a big Democrat victory and if there were only 8 Republicans that voted for it, there is probably a good chance that I won't like it.
It does not surprise me that the Congressman from my district voted for it.
I'm thinking about putting up something explaining cap n trade after I finish my cap n crunch and cap n Morgan.
But essentially it gives the US government the power to tax US citizens based on their carbon footprint... which doesn't sound all that bad on the surface... until you realize that everything is carbon based including us... we exhale CO2 and this bill allows them to tax CO2... it defines CO2 as a dangerously harmful gas... Obama is talking about taxing us for the stuff coming out of his mouth while telling us about taxing the stuff coming out of his mouth.
CAP & TRADE is a giant umbrella stealth tax that encompasses everything and everyone and nothing more from what I can tell and similar programs have failed miserably in Europe.... which means we should switch to it of course.
But it has only been passed in the House, not the Senate right? So there is still a glimmer of hope.

lol... don't worry man, Obama's gonna fix everything and make it right... He's gonna take some from the rich and then He's give some to the poor and then everybody's gonna end up with the same.... zero!
