Well it's that time again boys and girls... time to start gearing up for the next presidential election and there is one candidate we need to all pull together and call back into service.

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - It's been six months since voters handed Barack Obama the White House, and in the minds of a lot of Iowa activists that means only one thing: It's time to start the campaign again.2012 already?
Yes, 2 1/2 years before Iowans gather for their first-in-the-nation precinct caucuses, early presidential campaigning has begun.
"We had a brief pause for two or three months when people went somewhere warm, and then it starts again," said Richard Schwarm, a Lake Mills lawyer and former state Republican Party chairman. "Most of the old war horses hear the bell and start responding again."
Okay, we tried moving to the middle with a moderate liberal candidate in 2008 and it got us nowhere... except trounced, so we need that one true conservative that we were all arguing about in 2007 and 2008 to rally conservatives far and wide and let the moderates fall where they may.
Conservatives need someone we trust to deliver on true Reagan principals and policies because he was there with Reagan on star-wars and other initiatives, he served in Vietnam and his son served in both Iraq and Afghanistan and he is the only candidate to repeatedly introduce legislation which would grant the right to life to the unborn effectively eliminating abortion and he is the only candidate who proposed the fence and built the only portion finished near San Diego which reduced crime by over 60%. He fought and defeated the ACLU in a law suit that tried to remove a cross from a military cemetery and he fought for off-roaders and motorsports enthusiasts as well as hunters and backcountry enthusiasts to have a place to enjoy their sports.
Conservatives need a true conservative, not a maverick and not a pot-smoking isolationist libertarian either but a man of integrity and experience and honor.
America is sliding further into government control socialism and America needs a freedom fighting man of liberty and justice to lead us out of the trouble Democrats and Obama are driving off the rails like a crazy train.
Who is that man? I say man... because these are troubled times and requires someone with the grit and experience and guts and independent thinking to do what is required to turn this country back over to the people.
A John Wayne, Ronald Reagan kind of man who lets his actions speak for him without flowery meaningless doubletalk based on the latest opinion polling.
Who is that person?

Well Red. I looked him up on ontheissues.org like you asked.
I agree with a lot of what he has to say but I also disagree with some.
There are a few issues I am undecided on though.
I appreciate that Otter and I'm not surprised you don't agree with him on a few issues and that's totally okay... the target audience is a bit to the right of you not a bit to the middle or the left.
He had a few thoughts (that I read at ontheissues.org) that I agreed with on 100% though.
His stance on embryonic stem cell research for one example.
Right, there is absolutely no need to destroy embryo's when adult stem cells have proven to provide the same or better opportunities for medical advancements with fewer side effects and no loss of life involved in harvesting them.
It infuriates me when the news media and the left make no distinction between the two in order to say we conservatives are "against stem cell research" when that couldn't be further from the truth.
He was a co-sponsor of the flat tax... I think you supported going to a lower more fair tax rate.
And was the only candidate talking about the urgency to change our relationship with China particularly on trade where they are killing us... and how to fix it.
What about immigration?
Otter, if we don't do something about the stampede of illegals gushing up from South American through Mexico into the United States which is virtually unimpeded, we will be literally overtaken and over-populated and will end up looking just like the countries those people ran away from.
Our schools, healthcare system and economy cannot handle it... and is already drained from illegals in this country.
We MUST secure out borders... a person can drive a Ryder Truck... heck a fleet of them, across the border in any number of places filled with anything from feathers and napkins to fertilizer and nitro right now and there is nothing or nobody to stop them. That is unacceptable.
Duncan Hunter will secure the border, you can bank on that.
... I really do appreciate you taking the time Otter, I don't expect you to jump on the bandwagon or anything for sure, he's pretty far to the right of you, but that was very nice of you.
