Reality Check for Leftwing Racists and other Democrats
The drive-by blogger Kittenstomper aka "Just Not Right" is at it again...
"I think it is fair to say that not all Republicans are racist, but all racists are Republicans." -Kittenstomper Blog
I'm not sure what planet he goes to in between infrequent incoherent inaccurate insulting and inflammatory posts, but it apparently includes something called "dickeadedry". Anyway, after one more quote from his latest hate-filled attack-fest, lets take a quick look at which party has the most racists in it... mmmmmkay?
"Now, after Republican rule over two wars and doubling the size of the Federal Government and debt, Katrina, Schiavo, and just all around dickeadedry, America has turned its back on the fanatical 20 percent that remains of the Republican Party. The anger has risen to a dangerous level and is manifesting itself in recent killings."
Nice huh? Calling the Republican party racist murderers . Reality Check time for the kitty.
Okay... let's get this straight. Republicans are for equal treatment for everyone not favoring one race over the other... (Lincoln who was a Republican freed the slaves) if that makes us racist, have at it.
But first you might consider checking with a little thing we like to call "history".
Was the KKK invented by the Democrat party?
As far as proving that the KKK was started by the Democrats, we can use our heads to figure out most of it:
Fact - Southern Members of Congress walked out when the abolitionist Republican candidate became President, and started their own Government founded on "The Cornerstone of Slavery", some or all of these slavery lovers were Democrats.
From Page 10 in the Wall Builders document Democrats and Republicans: In Their Own Words.
'This reference to a nation with "slavery as its cornerstone" refers to a famous speech by the same title given by Democrat Rep. Alexander Stephens of Georgia, who left Congress to become the Vice President of the Confederacy. In his speech ("African Slavery: The Corner-Stone of the Southern Confederacy,'
Reasonable Guess - The Politicians who walked out on the new Republican President were probably not Republicans. According the above quote, it was the Democrats who were pro-slavery.
Fact - Because of the Civil War, white Southerners hated Republicans. Democrats ran the South until Reagan won in 1980 and turned the tide. Democrats were in control of the South during the time that the KKK was started. If someone is politically active enough to burn crosses, they probably also voted, and you can bet that the members of the KKK weren't voting for the Republican Party who freed the slaves.
Reasonable Guess - The KKK members were Democrat voters. Also, since KKK members were Control Freak enough to spend time burning crosses and lynching people, they probably ran for political office too, in order to achieve more Control. As Republican hating Democrat voters, why wouldn't KKK members be Democrat Politicians if they ran for office?
Fact - U.S. Senator Robert C. Byrd, who is in office today, was a KKK Grand Wizard, he is also a Democrat. the Democratic Party has KKK members in high political office today.
Fact - Most blacks in the South were Republicans in the 1800s, because they new that it was the Party of Lincoln that freed them.
The below information directly answers your question as to where the Wall Builders document references the KKK as being attributed to the Democratic Party.
From page 14 of the Wall Builders document Democrats and Republicans: In Their Own Words:
'The "inhuman outrages" perpetuated upon African Americans in the South were largely committed through the Democrats’ Ku Klux Klan.
It is indisputable historical fact that the Klan was started by Democrats. In fact, during congressional hearings on the subject, one prominent Democrat testified that the Ku Klux Klan "belongs to . . . our party – the Democratic Party." And the first Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan was prominent Democrat Nathan Bedford Forrest, an honoree at the 1868 Democratic National Convention. Recall also that every Democrat in Congress voted against the 1871 bill to punish Klan violence (see note on p. 8 about this bill).
The racist Reverend of the President of the United States, Jeremiah Wright.
"
And which party is it that defined African Americans as a non-person...?
I ask racists like Reverend Wright and blind bloggers like kittenstomper aka Just Not Right etc.
Are the real racists really the party of Abraham Lincoln or THE PARTY YOU ARE PIMPING FOR, YOU DUMMIES. (rhetorical question)
