Lifetime Country Club Member and RINO Ron Paul Calls Moose Hunting Palin a "Conventional Country Club Republican"

Libertarian posing as a Republican Ron Paul jumped on the attack Sarah Palin wagon in an interview with Politico this week saying Palin (pictured having a martini by the pool) and her supporters are the "more establishment, conventional Country-Club type of Republicans."

But as the Texans for Palin blog points out...

"Strange, we don't recall ever having been members of any country club, nor do any Palin supporters we know have such memberships. How out of touch with the people can Ron Paul be? In fact, most of the Palin backers we know are blue collar conservatives, not Rockerfeller elites. They are much more interested in the latest NASCAR standings than in who is atop the PGA leader board.

As for the Palins themselves, it's unlikely that they belong to any country club. Golf is not their game. Sarah is a runner, and Todd is into snowmobiles, not golf carts. And with all that hunting and fishing they do, it's doubful that they have either the time or inclination for the game of golf. Sarah and Todd both played basketball in their youth, and their kids are more familiar with the hockey stick than the nine iron. We have it on good authority that the Palin clan has been known to ski, however, Alaska being more of a place suited to the winter sports."

TFP
adds this...

"But, if you were to check the membership rolls of the Riverside Country Club in Lake Jackson Texas, I'll bet real money that you will find the names of Ron Paul and his wife Carol listed as lifetime members."

In fact, it's those very Country Club Republicans that are attacking Palin along with the liberal left.
Ron Paul needs to be worrying about his next big pork-barrel spending project to buy votes with and his 9-11 'truther' tinfoil hat theory instead of attacking an actual Republican.

I heard of fast greens before, but those solid ice greens are so fast that I heard of a guy that only hit the ball once and made all 19 holes.

But it was a par one course....

In any case, if Ron Paul calls himself any sort of conservative, he is shooting himself in the foot by the attacks on Mrs. Palin.

Does Michael Steele + Bilingual Ballots = New Republican Majority?

So says this writer who is ecstatic about the "New Republican Party" that he says Steele is creating.

I on the other hand doubt Republicans can out pander the Democrats on the issue of "Identity Politics"(Racial Politics). As long as Republicans choose to fight the Democrats on battlefields of the Democrat's own choosing they will lose. It's simple Sun Tzu.

The Republican party continues to go further and further away from the direction we need it to go for a vehicle of positive change. I feel that the only option left to us is a new party because even if the Republicans win next time I don't see them as significantly enough different from what we have now.

What needs to happen is the Republican Party needs to nominate and support candidates that actually stand for traditional Republican values.

Most importantly, the idea that government is not the solution to everyone's problems and that bigger government does not mean better government.
