I'm blowing the whistle on AARP and Blue Democrat blog... write 'em up boys. They are disseminating false information about the President's health care plan.
FACT #1: Medicare will not be ended, and no benefits or services will be cut.
FALSE! Obama himself has outlined $313 Billion in cuts to Medicare and Medicaid two programs that are virtually bankrupt (broke, losing money etc) and are both struggling to provide service to those who need it... so unless AARP and Blue Democrat have some secret plan for how to cut $313 Billion dollars from services and at the same time not cut any services or benefits, then this is simply disseminating false information.
You can't cut billions from a program already in the red and claim to improve service... sorry.
FACT #2: No legislation currently in Congress would mandate the rationing of care. Period.
LOL... you gotta love the use of the word "currently" since they can crank these thousand page bills out overnight. More misleading information on Obama-care.
FACT #3: There is no provision of any piece of legislation that would promote euthanasia of any kind.
No... according to the Obama-care plan they are just going to call you every few years and remind you that you are getting older and are a drain on the system and need to make out a will... you will figure out the rest.
FACT #4: We have not endorsed President Obama's plan.
LOL again, they have not endorsed Obama's plan because the congress is writing the plan not Obama... nobody (including AARP) knows what Obama's plan (or congress' plan) is since nobody has read it... so of course they don't endorse it.... YET !
Will somebody report these people to the white house already?

Hard to imagine that a group that gets all of its funds from senior citizens would be a lobbying group for the Democratic party.
My dad told me years ago that he pulled out of the AARP because they were just an arm of the Democrat party.... and my dad was a Democrat for most of his life.
Great. One more organization that will not support my campaign.

lol... you might wanna scratch planned parenthood, ACORN, moveon.org, the daily kos and Okie Funk off your list too.
Democrats are about securing voting blocks.... blacks, the poor, the union workers and most recently church goers.
Democrats pander to each of these groups individually and collectively, promise them salvation and free money but never can quite deliver, for to do so would mean the end of the Democrat party.
If everyone is successful happy and not in need of government assistance then the Democrat party has no reason to exist.
Republicans are about stating their conservative beliefs and values and let the chips, chads and votes fall where they may.
The Republican party wants everyone to succeed, be free and control their own destiny and the party only gets larger and stronger as more people do so. This is one of the fundamental differences in the two parties.
In addition, conservatives ... true conservatives state exactly what we stand for (and against) and if you believe like we do, then it makes no difference to us what voting block, group or segment you supposedly represent or come from.

I can go along with that.
To me the Republican Party espouses the idea that government intervention is hardly ever (if ever at all) the solution to any of the nation's problems and the idea that was so eloquently put hundreds of years ago that the government is best which governs least.
That, along with their pro-life stance is what ultimately brought me to their ranks.
