General Betray-us or Liberals Betray U.S.?

For those so inclined to question the numbers or the Iraq Status Report from General David Petraeus, read what Engram over at "Back Talk" blog has put together.
He is a Professor at a research University who is admittedly left of center, but takes a more objective look at politics and of course is therefore considered an extreme right-winger by his peers.

Engram writes; "If Durbin or Walker have a problem with the statistics, they should verify those statistics for themselves. Reflexively doubting Petraeus and the U.S. military without backing up your skepticism is just indulging yourself in egocentric grandstanding. It might feel good, but it's not a useful endeavor".

Great stuff! Which by the way, Prof Engram did verify the statistics and posted them for all to see. If a college professor can verify statistical claims in a government report in his spare time, you would think a US Senator could....or not. But that wouldn't satisfy the liberal ego or make liberal contributors "feel good" in the checkbook department.

BTW, Who do Americans trust most on Iraq by a large margin?
A: Military leaders?
B: Congress?
C: Bush?
D: Daily KOS?
E: The Media
F: Nobody.

To those who are calling Gen. Petraeus a liar and names like "General Betrayus" before he has even delivered HIS report, (not Bush's report as some would have you believe) I say you are treasonous, aiding and abetting the enemy and a are merely a liar yourself... at best.

If you think we should let people like moveon.org, the Daily Kos and Dick Durbin and other Democrats get away with saying things about our military that are designed to destroy the credibility of the entire military as well as one man (who should be regarded by all Americans as a HERO), without a shred of evidence, for mere political gain, YOU would be wrong, my friends.

So, Dick Durbin YOU are the official Red Stater "Democrat for Jihad" Of The Day !
For essentially calling a highly respected 4star General, direct from the war theatre, in full dress uniform, about to go under oath, ...a liar, before that general has even uttered a word.
