Breaking News: Local Malcontent Wrong, Corrects Mistake

After further review, The Local Malcontent has this playful and interesting look at football, 4th down and 15 in the first quarter and Republican presidential long shot Duncan Hunter. It takes a big man to admit a bad call in the heat of the game, Local Malcontent is more than a big man, he is a great American that puts voting for who he believes in over who others believe will win.

Okay, First Time I've Been Wrong in 2008!
Seems that I need to clarify that which I meant in the LMC post called "Scoreboard Watching" yesterday:

I associated the observed few supporters for Duncan Hunter in today's Iowa caucii to the over-matched Hawai'i Warriors football team in the Sugar Bowl. I suggested that, seeing only around 3-5% support among the good people of Iowa, Duncan Hunter may bow out of the presidential race.
May. MAY bow out. I did make one obvious mistake, in yesterday's bloggie post: I mistook 4th down and 15 to be late in the game... that was wrong, that was my pessimistic side coming through. This is early in the first quarter; why, the game is just now afoot.... STORY

Great story from Local Malcontent, I would only add... "We've got 'em right where we want 'em" - Kieth Bishop to John Elway and the Denver Bronco's in the huddle from their own end-zone, 98 yards from even tying the game, on 4th down and long, in the AFC Playoff championship game in Cleveland.
The rest of that story is NFL history and it's now called simply "The Drive".
