Not A Person?... (According To President Obama)

According to some (including our new President) this person and millions more have (had) no rights, not even the right to live.

Abortion kills a baby... a human being, a person.
It's time we told the truth, it's time you faced the truth.

If we will not stand up and protect the most defenseless among us... and instead call for and praise the murder of innocent unborn infants... then what are we?

It's NOT a choice... it's murder.

Democrat Party is the "Party of Death"

(CNS) 9/08 -- The Democratic Party in the United States "risks transforming itself definitively into a 'party of death,'" said U.S. Archbishop Raymond L. Burke, prefect of the Vatican's highest court.....

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHT: In a stunning rebuke of the U.S. Democratic Party, a high ranking Vatican official (Archbishop Raymond Burke) has accused it of becoming a "party of death," leaving no doubt how some Vatican officials view this American institution.

It's a serious blow with long lasting effects.
The Prefect of the Apostolic Signature, which is comparable to the "chief justice" on the Vatican's "supreme court," (to use an American analogy), is the archbishop who overseas all matters relating to the ecclesiastical court system.

His position in the worldwide Catholic Church is extremely significant and powerful, and makes him a serious future contender for the papal throne.
Ergo, his condemnation of the U.S. Democratic Party is very damning.

New Rights?

Local Okie blogger soonerthought asks the deep question...
"How does denying basic human rights to others ensure the protection of your own?--Editor"

I think he meant to ask "How does denying basic human rights (the right to life) to the unborn ensure the protection of your own (right to life)?" Reditor.

If you are so interested in ensuring the rights of others, why do you turn your back on the most innocent among us when it comes to their basic right to simply live life?

On the subject of homosexual marriage, gay marriage or same-sex marriage and/or civil unions.

My question for soonerthought... when did marriage become a right?
We all have to meet certain criteria before legally getting married. Being one man and one woman is the key element of the criteria for marriage by a couple.

I thought our rights were "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of HAPPINESS"...
not ...
"Life is only a Choice, Spread the wealth and Marriage".

Is soonerthought saying that one MUST be married to be happy?
Or is he saying that any relationship other than marriage is invalid or less meaningful?
Is he saying that gay means happy and that we all have the right to a happy marriage?
Is he claiming that marriage is a right under any and all circumstances?

Why aren't civil unions okay when they will provide all the "benefits" as traditional marriage?

Why must you tear down something someone else has in order to get something for yourself that you could have anyway?

Just wondering.... while we are on deep thoughts.

Simple Science (Not Religion) Says When "Life" Begins

LIFE BEGINS AT CONCEPTION

Dr. Jerome Lejeune of Paris, France, was a physician and Doctor of Science and Professor of Genetics for 25 years. Dr. Lejeune discovered the genetic cause for Down’s Syndrome. He received awards such as the Kennedy Prize and the Memorial Allen Award Medal; he was a member of The American Academy of Arts and Science, the Royal Society of Medicine of London, and the Royal Society of Science in Stockholm. Dr. Lejeune died April 3, 1994.

Dr. Lejeune noted that the very first cell, the fertilized egg cell or zygote, is "the most specialized cell under the sun".

In the words of Dr. Lejeune:

"Each of us has a very precise starting moment which is the time at which the whole necessary and sufficient genetic information is gathered inside one cell, the fertilized egg, and this is the moment of fertilization. There is not the slightest doubt about that and we know that this information is written on a kind of ribbon which we call the DNA…Nature has used the smallest possible language to carry the information from father to children, from mother to children, from generation to generation…At no time is the human being a blob of protoplasm. As far as your nature is concerned, I see no difference between the early person that you were at conception and the late person which you are now. You were and are a human being."

When Dr. Lejeune testified in the Louisiana legislature he stated, "Recent discoveries by Dr. Alec Jeffreys of England demonstrate that the information (on the DNA molecule) is stored by a system of bar codes not unlike those found on products at the supermarkets…it’s not any longer a theory that each of us is unique."

In 1989, during testimony on The Seven Human Embryos in Tennessee, Dr. Lejeune made the following observation:

"...as soon as he has been conceived, a man is a man."

A United States Senate Judiciary Subcommittee invited experts to testify on the question of when life begins. All of the quotes from the following experts come directly from the official government record of their testimony.1

Dr. Alfred M. Bongioanni, professor of pediatrics and obstetrics at the University of Pennsylvania, stated:

"I have learned from my earliest medical education that human life begins at the time of conception.... I submit that human life is present throughout this entire sequence from conception to adulthood and that any interruption at any point throughout this time constitutes a termination of human life....

I am no more prepared to say that these early stages [of development in the womb] represent an incomplete human being than I would be to say that the child prior to the dramatic effects of puberty...is not a human being. This is human life at every stage."

Professor Micheline Matthews-Roth, Harvard University Medical School: "It is incorrect to say that biological data cannot be decisive.... It is scientifically correct to say that an individual human life begins at conception.... Our laws, one function of which is to help preserve the lives of our people, should be based on accurate scientific data."

Dr. Watson A. Bowes, University of Colorado Medical School: "The beginning of a single human life is from a biological point of view a simple and straightforward matter—the beginning is conception. This straightforward biological fact should not be distorted to serve sociological, political, or economic goals."

A prominent physician points out that at these Senate hearings, "Pro-abortionists, though invited to do so, failed to produce even a single expert witness who would specifically testify that life begins at any point other than conception or implantation."

Obama On Post-Birth Abortion (murder)

Yes, I said... post-birth abortion.
Or as us "common folks" like to call it... murder.
The Obama Debate Every American Should See

Is this the man you want appointing Supreme Court Judges?

"Some background: Eight years ago, nurse Jill Stanek went public about the "induced-labor abortions" performed at the Illinois hospital where she worked. Often done on Down syndrome babies, the procedure involved medicating the mother to cause premature labor.
Babies who survived this, Stanek testified in the U.S. Congress, were brought to a soiled linen room and left alone to die without care or comforting."

Obama was the lone voice against legislation in Illinois to prevent post-birth abortions... thankfully the bills past, but Barack H Obama voted to allow the above to continue.

Again I ask... is this the man you want appointing Supreme Court Justices to regulate the abortion issue, the 2nd Amendment and our laws?
If so,... may God help us.

Kittenstomper Supports Killing Babies

In a lame attempt to try and stir up some traffic for his pathetic blog following his horrible performance during the 2007 Oklahoma Worst Blog of the Year Awards, Kittenstomper Blog (yup thats the name) is attacking me for being pro-life.
He refers to me as "the rabid base they have founded their party upon."

He writes...
"Anti-abortion extremists claim abortion is murder. Yet none of them have ever tried to back legislation to prosecute women who have abortions. If abortion is indeed murder, then not advocating murder charges shows the hypocrisy of the argument. Clearly, they cannot even answer the question."

If he had bothered to actually read any of my posts on the subject, (like my post "When is Abortion Justified" in the right sidebar) he would have known that I have in fact advocated that abortion is "1st Degree Prenatal Homicide". The penalty for such is for the courts to decide, not me but I would treat it just like any other murder or manslaughter case.

"Allowing exceptions in the case of rape or incest means anti-abortion ideologues allow the murder of innocent fetus's only when they are victims of a crime.
Not allowing such exceptions forces young ladies to give birth to their brother, or wives to give birth to the murderer of their husbands."

If he would have actually read the link to my blog that he used in his post, he would have noticed that Republican presidential candidate Duncan Hunter has called for a ban on all abortions- period and has introduced legislation every year for the past 10+ years on it. He is my candidate of choice for president.
No inconsistency here.

He ends his defense of the indefensible with a video about what it was like before women had contraception options available today and how they got abortions. Today we have more forms of birth control than we do ways to have sex. It is available for free and it is available for use even up to 24 hrs AFTER having sex.

Yet approximately 1.5 million unborn children are murdered by their mothers in this country every single year to the cheers of children hating white men like Kittenstomper.

Yet he has the nerve to condemn me for speaking out on behalf of those innocent ones who CANNOT speak for themselves?

So be it. If I am to be condemned, then let it be for protecting life itself.

In his world, defending the life of an unborn child is being a "Pro-Life Wingnut" while demanding the murder of that unborn child is considered being a "Pro-choice Progressive".

Shame on you kittenstomper, whoever you are... shame on you.
Kittenstomper supports preborn baby killing.
Hmmm. considering his blog name, it's not surprising I guess.

I'll throw him a bone and some hits as well.
People like this need to be exposed for what they really are.

Score Another One For the Pre-Born

The Texas Courts have nudged the pro-abortion (pre-natal homicide) folks down that very slippery slope which they so dread with every fiber of their former embryonic lives.
"The Supreme Court has emphasized that states may protect human life not only once the fetus has reached viability but 'from the outset of the pregnancy,'" the court said.
"The Legislature is free to protect the lives of those whom it considers to be human beings."
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) - Texas laws allow the killing of a fetus to be prosecuted as murder, regardless of the fetus' stage of development, but they do not apply to abortions, the state's highest criminal court has ruled.

Wednesday's ruling by the Court of Criminal Appeals rejected an appeal by Terence Lawrence, who said his right to due process was violated because he was prosecuted for two murders for killing a woman and her 4- to 6-week-old fetus.

The court ruled unanimously that state laws declaring a fetus an individual with protections do not conflict with the U.S. Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade ruling that protects a woman's right to an abortion.
"The Supreme Court has emphasized that states may protect human life not only once the fetus has reached viability but 'from the outset of the pregnancy,'" the court said. "The Legislature is free to protect the lives of those whom it considers to be human beings."

Lawrence's appeal argued that he should not have been prosecuted for the death of the fetus because it was not viable. Supreme Court precedent in abortion cases has established that states have no compelling interest to interfere before a fetus would be old enough to live outside the mother's womb, he said.

However, the court said abortion precedent is based on the premise that a woman wants to have the procedure.

"The 'compelling state interest' test, along with the accompanying 'viability' threshold, has no application to a statute that prohibits a third party from causing the death of the woman's unborn child against her will," Presiding Judge Sharon Keller wrote

SLOWLY THEY TURNED,... INCH BY INCH, ...STEP BY STEP.
I don't think it will take too long nor would it be too difficult to make the argument that ALL preborn babies should be considered 'worthy of protection' of their life as human beings by the legislature (and as a result the courts), and anyone wanting to kill them had better have a darned good reason. With the announcement this past week that ADULT skin stem cells have all the same potential as embryonic stem cells, the 'pre-natal homicide' crowd had better grab hold of something and hang on tight... it's gonna get a little more slippery real soon.
