Red Flags Flying Over Ballot Reformers

Don't say I didn't warn you. These people never learn. They come in here and drop a comment or two with strings attached and think they are teaching me a lesson. When I start pulling on the string and it unravels, ...moonbats are usually attached to the other end. (Examples are Rodger A Payne the "Insurgent sympathizer", the David Podvin Hoax and Dr. Robin Meyers The Pulpit Pundit) This one is no exception.

A few days ago I posted a "Red Flag Warning" titled Don't Get Robbed Oklahoma responding to cries from "Best Political Blog 2006" Okie Funk and Blue Oklahoma (among other extremist moonbat bloggers) urging us to "Reform Oklahoma's Ballot" ("ROB" as I referred to it) based on those posts and the immediate red flags that went up.

A young fellow who goes by J.M. Branum responded to my concerns at his blog and in my comments section with the question "Do you believe the people of Oklahoma are too stupid to chose from more than two choices?" JM went on to accuse me of not representing my chosen causes well (which I would think would be a good thing for him).

JM mistakenly thinks my "cause" is the Republican party, when in fact my only cause is promoting my belief in America, Americans, freedom of religion, God and the traditional (yes, conservative) way of life in America.

Exposing moonbats is more accidental than a cause, but none the less if I do not represent these causes well, then "THAT", Mr. Branum is between me and my causes and God, NOT you ultimately to decide.

But it's funny (not ha-ha, the other kind) and ironic that JM would bring up "CAUSES", as we can see clearly from his blog that JM's causes are part-time Bush hating, Socialism, Marxism and assisting (dare I say inviting, or even encouraging?) men and women who volunteered and signed up FOR the military into avoiding, disobeying, deserting and attacking (legally) that same military and the United States Government (all during a time of war) for fun and profit.
I must compliment JM on representing his causes very-very well.

From the JMBzine, he claims this is an unjust war and also that the U.S. military is "evil"

"...It is frustrating though. I can only do so much. I can’t tell soldiers to break the law (even if it more moral to break the law than to do kill) and I can only do so much to help these soldiers navigate an institution that seems so bent on doing evil. — I should add that while the institution of the Army is about death and killing and evil (I’m sorry but that is how I see it)..."

I also notice from his weblog that one of JM's favorite bloggers is none other than Doc hoc/Okie Funk which brings us back to the ballot issue.

As I stated in the first paragraph of my post "Don't Get Robbed Oklahoma", with bloggers like Okie Funk (who is calling for the complete destruction of the Democratic party and jailing of the Republican party and reconstruction of a new party in his "New Populist Liberal" vision) and Blue Oklahoma (leftwing moonbat Democrats) out leading the big parade to Reform Oklahoma's Ballots and election process and now along comes this "Marxist/deserter-chasing lawyer" who preys on disgruntled ex military for profit and wants to turn OKC into Austin Texas ...(or much worse) is also onboard the "Ballot Reform" insane train... enough already!

More red flags just went up all over the place and a couple of sirens went off too. I don't really need to know any more about this so-called needed legislation. (In fact I say we increase the number of names required on a petition to 85,000 in order to be recognized as a political party and get on the ballots!) If you are a real "voice of the people" even 1/10th of the population should be a snap!
Based on these facts alone, I'm pretty sure this is a bad deal for Oklahoma... unless you think that giving the Socialist, Marxist, New Populist Liberals and other assorted moonbats more power over Oklahoma's voting process is a good thing.
This makes my whole "RED flags" thing take on a whole new perspective though doesn't it?.

Now, to answer the question about the proposed ballot reform and thirteenth party candidates.
In my opinion,
It's simply feel-good/do-nothing fluff in terms of results compared to how it is being sold. Oklahoma already has third party candidates on the ballot such as Independent candidates who are generally Democrats that disagree with the party on one or two issues but vote Democrat party line the rest of the time. States like Colorado who had 13 different party candidates on their ballot only touts a county commissioner, a mayor and a few city council members among victors (mostly Green party) aside from a few Independents. Voters in Colorado still elected the candidates from the two major parties in over 99% of the races proving "Ballot Access" did nothing...
unless you consider an exercise in futility... something. Voters are already turned off by too much mumbo-jumbo issues on the ballots and adding 10-15 more "choices" in several races won't turn anybody on and didn't improve turnout in Colorado to any measurable degree.

In Tulsa (2006) there were not just one but 2 Independent candidates on the ballot for Mayor vs 1 Republican and 1 Democrat... restrictive ballot process?

One new trend that needs to be considered is "fusion" voting as a part of liberal ballot access in states that have passed such laws. Democrats have used this fusion voting technique effectively in other states to get Democrats elected who otherwise might not. In theory Republicans could do this too, but there are far-far more leftwing groups than rightwing groups by a large margin and we have not seen this trend with Republican and other rightwing groups.

Another fact is that they are never satisfied with the ballots or election process unless they are winning as in Colorado where they decided that having 13+ on the ballot isn't enough and tried to "reform" Colorado's electoral process to make Colorado divide it's 9 electoral votes making it essentially worthless with a likely 5/4 split and thus a whopping 1 electoral vote going to the winner instead of 9. Colorado voters rejected the plan.
Don't be surprised (RED FLAGS should go up) when you see them try the same thing in Red-State Oklahoma. (All 77 counties voted BUSH in the 2004 election, but under a "split" scenario it might be much different)

Petraeus Report Confirmed, Surge Working, Media Not

Engram at BACKTALK has another great post.
He lays out clearly what the anti-war, antiAmerican, Leftwing News Media SHOULD be reporting today and tomorrow, but aren't because it doesn't fit their Bush hating anti American template.

"I had expected the news today to report the astonishingly low number of civilian and military casualties for the month of September. After all, there is an on-going debate about whether or not General Petraeus was betraying his nation by deliberately lying about the improving casualty situation in Iraq. Casualties from the month of September are directly relevant to that debate. In fact, they would appear to settle the issue. Things might get worse down the line, and al Qaeda will certainly manage to sneak in more mass-casualty attacks before this all over, but as of right now the trend in violence is very definitely in the downward direction (just as General Petraeus said was the case)."

But what do people read when they pick up the paper today? This:
Petreaus Admits to Rise in Violence
"Militants with the extremist group Al Qaeda in Iraq have launched a string of deadly bombings in recent weeks, including one this week that killed at least 24 people at a reconciliation meeting between Sunni and Shiite tribal, religious, political and security leaders in the Diyala provincial capital, Baqubah.

At least 11 Iraqis were killed in bomb blasts, mortar and gunfire today. The U.S. military also announced the deaths of two soldiers in small-arms fire, one during combat operations in a southern section of Baghdad and the other in Diyala."

What the media ISN'T telling us is that..."

"...the ICCC already includes those 24 deaths in the 75 deaths for the month that are attributable to al Qaeda's suicide bombers."

OR that...

"As of 8:00 P.M. September 30 (Baghdad time), documented deaths from suicide bombers in the month of September come to a mere 75.
Last month, it was over 600..."

And it's NOT just in Anbar either...


Despite Iraqi casualties being astonishingly LOW and despite the troop surge, US military casualties are way down (see graph below) and considering that this has happened despite the fact that Ramadan began on September 13, and despite the fact that al Qaeda threatened a major offensive during that time, the media hangs on to defeat and refuses to report the successes that are impossible to overlook "accidentally".


Engram concludes that the LA Times and media reporting is "pathetic"...

"That's just pathetic. Would anyone reading this (LA Times) story know that casualties are way down in Iraq? Or would they instead assume that violence continues apace and that our lying general was forced to admit it?
Well, as someone once said, "you go to war with the media you have, not the media you wish you had."

In his previous post at BACKTALK Engram details database numbers to demonstrate the effort to kill, disrupt and defeat America while starting a civil war by Al Qaeda and their failure to do so and concludes that hopefully...

"This may be al Qaeda's last gasp in Iraq. They have bet everything on defeating the troop surge, but it seems that the Democrats in Washington will not come to their rescue in time. Then again, I have mistakenly thought that al Qaeda was suppressed in the past, only to have my hopes dashed by yet another in a long string of spectacular mass-casualty attacks. Time will tell, but the trends seem favorable (finally)."

How long can the left hang on to the hope and dreams of defeat?
We are about to see, but one thing is for sure, it will be pathetic.

UPDATE: 10/01/2007- Al Qaeda in "last throws"? Engram demonstrates today, again using liberal bodycount groups own numbers that not only did the surge "work" but how Shiites are taking on Al Qaeda suicide bombers and demonstrates irrefutably how the US military is absolutely WINNING the war against the terrorists who attacked us on 9/11/2001 and are now focused on Iraq.
Al Qaeda has failed to incite civil war, failed to defeat the surge and thus failed to turn enough Americans off to Bush and the war to win. They will no doubt try and form a "re-surge" to try and offset this HUGE VICTORY for America and Iraqis, but make no mistake, the left has been DEAD WRONG about the war and whether winning is achievable. A US/Iraqi victory is not only achievable, it is being achieved as we speak and is now moving into the "most likely to succeed" category.

Buff's Shock No. 3 Oklahoma

Just as Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops predicted, the third-ranked Sooners couldn’t run it up on Colorado.

In fact, the Sooners couldn’t even beat the Buffaloes.

Kevin Eberhart kicked a career-long 45-yard field goal as time expired to send Colorado past the stunned Sooners 27-24 Saturday.

It was the Buffaloes’ first win over a top-five team since Dec. 1, 2001, when they bested Texas in the Big 12 title game.

After Eberhart’s kick cleared the crossbar, the fans stormed the field as the dejected Sooners, who had blown a 24-7 second-half lead, walked off, their hopes of a national championship having taken a major hit.

The Sooners (4-1, 0-1 big12) came in averaging a whopping 61.5 points to lead the nation. But behind a tough defense, the Buffs (3-2, 1-0 big12) earned their biggest win under Dan Hawkins, who went 2-10 in his inaugural season last year.

The Buffaloes trailed 24-7 after Allen Patrick scored from 17 yards out following safety D.J. Wolfe’s second interception of Buffs quarterback Cody Hawkins. His first one led to Juaquin Iglesias’ 13-yard TD catch in the first half.

But Oklahoma, which had scored 50-plus points in each of their first four games, was stifled after that, and Colorado outgained the Sooners 219 yards to 46 in the second half.

Colorado began its comeback with Eberhart’s 41-yarder to make it 24-10 in the third quarter.

After Ryan Walters picked off Sam Bradford, Hawkins hit Tyson DeVree for the score on fourth-and-goal from the 4, pulling Colorado to 24-17 on the first play of the fourth quarter.

Bradford, who was the second rated passer in the nation entering the game, finished 8-for-19 for 112 yards with two interceptions and was outplayed by Hawkins, the Colorado coaches’ son.

The redshirt freshman was 22-for-36 for 219 yards and two touchdowns.

The Sooners gave the Buffs a huge assist in their comeback when Reggie Smith muffed a fair catch and Colorado’s Justin Drescher recovered at the OU 16.

Four plays later, Colorado tied it on Hawkins’ 15-yard touchdown strike to Dusty Sprague with 4:05 remaining.

The Buffs forced another punt and Chase McBride’s 33-yard return set up Colorado at midfield. Hawkins drove the Buffs to the 27, where Eberhart made the game-winner to give Colorado its biggest upset in years.

Oklahoma led 17-7 at halftime after managing just one long scoring drive, a three-play, 80-yarder that ended with Patrick’s 34-yard TD run.

The Sooners went three-and-out on their first two possessions but got great field position on their next drive when Wolfe picked off Hawkins and returned it 33 yards to the Buffaloes 11.

The Sooners lost two yards on their first two runs, then Bradford hit Iglesias for a 13-yard touchdown — and Oklahoma’s first first down — with 1:40 left in the first quarter for a 7-0 lead.

The Buffs then tied it at 7 when pulling guard Devin Head opened a hole for tailback Hugh Charles, who scampered in from 25 yards out in the second quarter.

The Buffs announced before the game that star freshman tailback Brian Lockridge would sit out with a concussion, which he suffered at practice on Tuesday. Lockridge had been the Buffs’ primary tailback since they burned the redshirt on him two weeks ago.

Two NEW lies are being spread like cancer by the extreme liberal left bloggers like kittenstomper here in Oklahoma for example... who print the accusation and the lie but don't print what Limbaugh ACTUALLY said... just like the rest of the "repeat the lies" leftwing pathological bloggers around the globe who aren't the least bit interested in facts, but instead only interested in how much damage they can do with the lies.

So what is it this week that is spreading across the liberal blogosphere like wildfire... and getting picked up by the Democrat party advertising department (the main stream media) and repeated as fact?

Lie #1- O'Reilly made racist comments.
Fact1: Fact2 Both Rev. Al Sharpton (D) AND NPR's Juan Williams (D) (neither are Bush loving neocons) were present with O'Reilly at the time the comments were made and BOTH Sharpton AND Williams have said...

O'Reilly's comments were right...if taken in context, and were certainly NOT racist in any way.

Lie #2- Rush Limbaugh calls any troops "phoney" who oppose the war.
Fact: Here is what Limbaugh actually said, judge for yourself...

Jesse Macbeth was in the Army, folks, briefly. Forty-four days before he washed out of boot camp. Jesse Macbeth isn't an Army Ranger, never was. He isn't a corporal, never was. He never won the Purple Heart, and he was never in combat to witness the horrors he claimed to have seen. You probably haven't even heard about this. And, if you have, you haven't heard much about it. This doesn't fit the narrative and the template in the Drive-By Media and the Democrat Party as to who is a genuine war hero. Don't look for any retractions, by the way. Not from the anti-war left, the anti-military Drive-By Media, or the Arabic websites that spread Jesse Macbeth's lies about our troops, because the truth for the left is fiction that serves their purpose. They have to lie about such atrocities because they can't find any that fit the template of the way they see the US military. In other words, for the American anti-war left, the greatest inconvenience they face is the truth."

No wonder the pathological left got mad, "smearing without regard for truth" is the official plan of operation for the left right now and they don't want that truth getting out either.
Thats what they do when they lose in the battle of ideas. (and make no mistake they are losing otherwise there is no need to smear)
Smear Bush, smear Republicans, smear the military, smear Generals, smear Christians and then claim Bush, Rush and O'Reilly are the liars.

MEANWHILE, the very SAME LEFT (suddenly outraged) who has been calling the troops "murderers", "uneducated and poor", thugs, the real terrorists... and worse, NOW all of a sudden they are mad at somebody for calling one of their phoney so-called "murdering troops... phoney?
Jesse McBeth was another (phoney) example of our troops being murdering thugs (he was never in combat for God's sake) held up by the left and used as a weapon against the military and Bush just like they do with Club Gitmo and elsewhere.

And yet some people wonder why those of us on the right have nothing but contempt for these... pathetic lying losers who are given utmost credibility and respect by the mainstream media.

If you were one that helped spread any of these lies, you are scum. ( and scum is NOT a term of endearment)

We can post direct quotes in context of dozens of America hating liberals in Hollywood and get scorned and criticized for it... the left can make up lies and get away with it... and in fact get those lies printed as real news.

This is what the left is doing to America and if those of you who call yourselves moderate liberals had better start calling these people out and discrediting them... because it reflect directly on you, like it, admit it or not. They are destroying your country too.

The right has played nicey-nice and patty-cake long enough, trying to not give your lies credibility by not responding and thats about to come to an end... trust me.

Who is behind all of this... well, if we follow the money, one place it will lead us is to one George Soros for without his billions funding these liars... their lies might never get out of the sewer they came from. Soros is willing to pay anyone any amount if they are willing to lie, cheat or steal to destroy Bush and Republicans. (Like the so-called NASA whistleblower which turned out to be a global warming fraud/lie paid for by Soros)

The troops know who is on their side and who is telling lies, so the story about Rush will have no impact there, only here where the other war is going on... the war against truth waged by the extreme, "off the rails on a crazy train", moonbat (did I mention extreme?) left. If there is such a thing as a moderate liberal majority that doesn't believe these lies, they need to assist in stopping the madness or they end up being a willing un-active partner in these partisan lies.

I coulda' put up a terrific photo, but didn't want to spoil the surprise. My only hint/comment for you is ... wait'll they find out she's a lesbian...(not that there is anything wrong with that)

Other nominees include (see Jihad of the Day posts in Sept archive) Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, moveon.org, Okie, Funk/Daily Kos/Blue Oklahoma, Hillary Clinton, George Soros, Harry Reid, Howard Dean, Dennis Kucinich, the entire Democrat congress along with a host of "Dishonorable Mentions"....
But none of these Bush hating Jihadi supporters was fanatic enough to get invited to spend an all expenses paid, fun-filled weekend running around in the middle of the night killing innocent people with carbombs, IED's, suicide belts and hang out with cool terrorists like this months winner did!

Better luck next month to all those who supported the Jihad against America ...(from the safety of America)... you know who you are.

MLK's Niece Speech Cancelled as Controversial

Defenders of Free Speech where art thou now?

This one makes my head want to explode...

All week I've heard people defending Ahmadinejad's right to speak at our schools in the name of freedom of speech and I've heard people defending the poster for the Gay and Lesbian deal depicting the last supper in S&M gear as freedom of speech...
...but where are these people (and others) when the niece of Martin Luther King Jr's speech is canceled by a High School Principal for being "too controversial"? (cricket noise)

Alveda King, who has blood ties to the founder of the civil rights movement, is the Director for the African American Outreach for Gospel Life, a minister, an author, a former professor and a former Georgia legislator was surprised and disappointed at the sudden cancellation by the Roosevelt High School in Des Moines Iowa for what they described as "too controversial".

Now why in the wide world of sports would anyone NOT want this obviously intelligent, educated, high quality person tied to our nations recent history, to speak to students?

What on earth could she possible have done or said that could cause such total rejection of her even appearing on campus and speaking to students as planned for months?

Was it racism or left over racist hatred for her Uncle?
Some big scandal involving drugs, dog fighting, corruption or ...worse?
It's worse than all the above?
What could it be...

She was canceled for being....drum roll,
...pro life.

Let me get this straight... So it's perfectly fine to have someone speak at our schools who believes in killing all the Jews, but NOT okay to have someone (even the niece of MLKjr) speak on behalf of "life" in our schools. BTW- She says her Uncle was pro-life too.

"My uncle said that "the Negro cannot win if he is willing to sacrifice the lives of his children for personal comfort and safety.” Now if you look at the issue of abortion, that's immediately sacrificing the life of a child for personal comfort and safely."

Yet every school talks about MLK as a hero of all Americans without mentioning that if he were alive today they probably wouldn't let him speak at those same schools (if his niece is any example).

High Shools across the country welcome Planned (un)Parenthood in-school programs and guests to speak, so perhaps Roosevelt High should contact them for a less controversial speaker assuming they haven't already spoken there...

Two (correction, Three) back-to-back-to back posts by Engram over at BACK TALK who is a research professor, registered Democrat and self professed liberal are absolutely brilliant (as usual) and I challenge anti-war Bush haters to refute his data.

Engram goes to great detail and research using the actual numbers provided by anti-Bush leftwingers themselves to demonstrate irrefutably and convince even the most skeptical of you that the Petraeus Report is dead-on accurate with his...
"Leftwing Conformation of the Petraeus Report".

"There continues to be a raging debate about the validity of the report given by General Petraeus, which supposedly documented declining civilian casualties in Iraq. Skepticism about the numbers reported by Petraeus is seriously misplaced... and today I think I will be able to convince you of that. In fact, I'm going to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt."

Using their own numbers, Engram does just that.

With data supplied from anti-war leftwing body count groups, Engram confirms the Petraeus Report and disproves claims that the "books were cooked" in favor of the surge and just as importantly in todays post goes on to show exactly how moveon.org and the others may have "cooked the books" themselves with manipulated graphs and misrepresented data.

Why is the surge working and who are we fighting?

Congratulations and gratitude should also go out to those tribal leaders and Iraqi citizens that have helped make this a big victory for them and a huge loss for Al Qaeda and other Islamic extremists.

Whether you hate Bush and don't understand who we are fighting in Iraq and want the straight scoop OR if you love Bush and want the straight scoop on the current situation in Iraq, BACKTALK is a MUST READ for anyone desiring to have a more informed opinion on the war.

I challenge UCO's Okie Funk's Dr. Kurt Hochenauer or any of these other illustrious anti-war college professors or even one of the Daily Kosers or AirheadAmericans, or moveon.orgers, who believe the moveon.org ad, to review, debate, acknowledge (or even read) Engram's well documented analysis on the subject of Iraq.

If you are able to post on their hate-sites (I am not of course, excepting Rodger A Payne's site where to his credit I have not been banned) then please, by all means deliver my challenge with this note..."put-up or shut-up". (I will deliver the message to Dr. Payne myself, again to his credit)

My guess is these holier than thou college professors and other "experts" consider themselves "above" learning, or challenges to their view, much less risking the "impossibility" that they are just flat WRONG... and so will more than likely respond with either indifference or insults/attacks (on me) (and/or BackTalk)...and few (if any) facts disputing the Petraeus Report or Engram's analysis.

They throw out numbers that are fed to them like "1.2million innocent Iraqi's dead" without ever checking those numbers or even considering whether the numbers are feasible (which it isn't) as was pointed out in an earlier piece. All they have to do is simple math, I'm sure SOMEBODY at these universities has a calculator in their pocket protector.

BTW- Attention Moonbats: Do NOT even respond with "...if Al Qaeda lost, then the war is over, so bring the troops home". That is not what is said here, the discussion is of the surge, the Petraeus Report and in particular the Anbar region of Iraq. There is still a lot of work to be done, but make no mistake, it is getting done.

If Americans don't come together in the same "alternate universe" and defeat the Jihadists, then Americans will certainly live in the very real "universe" dictated by those Jihadists.



Unless of course, the anti-war Democrats and Populist Liberals have figured out a way to "jump" to alternative realities/universes... which, judging by their words and actions (and the existence of alternative universes) , I guess could also be true.

The New Populist Left

As I posted below, using the generic term "liberal" for Okie Funk/Dr. Kurt is technically incorrect, according to the purpose statement in the upper right margin of his blog "Providing Populist and Liberal information and ideas...".

While there is virtually no information about Populism or liberalism on his blog, it's very easy to figure out what Okie Funk is AGAINST ...the war, the Imperialist Bush Presidency, the neoconservative whatever, the Miltary-Industrial Complex and the threat of the Christian right are his major targets... (aside from rightwing Democrats lately...lol) but never do you get a glimpse of what Okie Funk is in FAVOR of. In the "ideas" department he is severely lacking for a college professor.
He supports and obviously votes Democrat (providing he votes) but Democrats are not far enough to the left to suit this liberal populist.
Populist Liberal...Liberal Leftist ...Leftist Populist... hmmm let's see if we can find examples in the wide world of sports where Leftist liberals and Populist parties combined.

We can only speculate, but two things are for sure... Okie Funk/Dochoc/Dr Kurt isn't demanding to rebuild the Democrat party in the image of the current Democrat party nor in the image of the Republican party or anything else we would recognize as pro American... that is certain.

It's time Oklahoman's new the truth about Dr. Kurt Hochenauer and the Leftist Populist movement.

I was able to find this nugget tucked away in the diaries over at Blue Oklahoma where DocHoc (Dr Kurt) posts on a regular basis along with regular posts at the Daily Kos.

Glad I could be the one to clear this up, but it was a lot easier when I could just call him a moonbat.

Let The Unraveling Begin

When liberals attack liberals and call for their heads (or jobs) you know there is a problem.

As other liberals and Democrats have said, "You. just. don't. do. it". Liberals should never ever attack other liberals... no matter what, according to the company line that is.

In power for nearly a year, Democrats find themselves in a real pickle however as they have failed to deliver on campaign promises. (according to the left)
Their highly touted fix of all of America's problems in their "First 100 Hours" turned into 100 hours of nothing followed by 100 days of nothing followed by another 200 days of nothing (except giving minimum wage earners a .75cent raise.) unless you call endless investigations that lead nowhere something.

Upset, discouraged and sounding defeated, OKIE FUNK turns his moonbat hate machine on Democrats who aren't toeing the extremist liberal line like good little socialists. But Dochoc (Okie Funk) is not alone in his war on Democrats. Several leftwing bloggers are calling for a large number of select Democrats to be "primaried" (defeated in primaries) as they call it.

This ever widening crack in the base of the Democrat party is possibly just the beginning of a giant separation and ultimate grand canyon to come. Extremist radical liberals like those at moveon.org, the Daily Kos and here in Oklahoma at Okie Funk who believe they are responsible for Democrats being in power in the first place are threatening... (no) DEMANDING total destruction of the Democrat party and a total remake in true socialist fashion. Won't THAT be fun?

Moderates like Joe Liberman and local blogger Oklahoma Lefty along with other mature, rational thinking Democrats have been warning of the dangers associated with the extreme far radical left....and trying to provide a more palatable reasonable platform. The arrogance and impatience of those radicals may cause the split that moderate liberals need in order to make a clean break from the wacko extremists who are bent on destruction and reconstruction of the Democrat party.

For those of us on the right, it comes as no surprise considering the lies, rhetoric and hatred for America that moveon.org, Daily Kos, Okie Funk and their ilk have spewed for the past 7+ years, but to most Democrats it will come as a complete shock and awe when that venom is spewed at them.

Target: Former San Francisco Mayor, US Senator Dianne Feinstein (D) CA- Described by Okie Funk as extreme rightwing and a patsy for the Bush Imperial Presidency along with a long list of Democrats OkieFunk has targeted for "un-election" are now in the crosshairs. Okie Funk is calling to break up the Democrat party at the same time he urges all Democrats to come together in order to prevent what he frighteningly describes as "a new totalitarian America" which he claims without any evidence whatsoever is certain to come if Republicans win in '08. (Like the draft predicted in 04?)

But don't take my word for it... Okie Funk unplugged, unraveled, unglued and unhinged HERE.
Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy... and laughing out loud at the same time.

A lesson In Censorship From The Left

Ready again Class?
Okay boys and girls, today we are going to discuss "free speech".

Oklahoma Lefty, about whom I have expressed great respect for his courage and position on the war, has spent considerable time here in my comments sections trying to convince me to censor my words, thoughts, opinions and views of the left. (See Pinheads For Peace) He condemned me for using words that he deems inappropriate like "moonbat" for instance and has worked tirelessly to make the point that unless I use words and methods that he (dave) approves, then all my points are moot and not to be taken seriously.

Amazingly at the same time, he posts a story accusing bloggers like me of censorship because I require approval before comments are published here primarily due to spam ads. A glance at the comments section in "A Tale of Two Paynes" and numerous other posts shows clearly that I do publish comments that are critical and hateful of myself, conservatives and Bush in particular and in no way censor mere opinions.
Lefty goes to great lengths to condemn censorship when it fits his needs (defending other lefty's) while at the same time trying to *supervise my manners and thereby censor what I write and post here at Red S Tater !

Olahoma Lefty points to definition #2 HERE which says... "Any person who *supervises the manners or morality of others" as his example of MY censorship (by approving comments before publishing) which in fact is exactly what HE is doing by attempting to "supervise my manners" regarding comments I make about liberals and Democrats on my own blog.

And just where does Dave attempt to *supervise my manners and thereby censor free speech?
In the very same comments section that he accuses of censorship of "free speech"... of course. LOL
It's subtle, it's nuanced (of course) but none the less, Dave reprimands me for not blogging to his standards (repeatedly) and discredits me, ...then praises me in a couple of posts (and gives me credit) where I made an extreme effort to meet dave's standards, (even though in one of them I do describe liberals as communists, musta slipped by) then has the nerve to accuse ME of censorship!
Classic hypocritical rhetoric from the left.
Supporting free speech as long as THEY get to decide what speech is free.

Nice job dave, you illustrated perfectly how censorship works for the left. Calling Bush every name in the book is free speech, but asking a Democrat even a tough question...
("...don't tase me bro') much less calling them "moonbats" and "America haters", is considered a Zappable offense... especially in the liberal blog-o-sphere.

I have not advocated censoring the left, in fact I post and re-post their comments to help them get their message out. I figure the more people who know what these moonbats are saying, the better off we all are.

Meanwhile, we have a college professor teaching his personal Bush-hating moonbat politics in the classroom at the University of Central Oklahoma (a clear and rather obvious violation of inappropriate usage of free speech) and what do we hear from Oklahoma Lefty? (Cricket noise)

And this, boys and girls on the same day that liberally biased Columbia University is welcoming Jew hater/Bush hater/America hater Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to their campus to speak after liberal students at Columbia attacked the founder of the border patrol group "The Minutemen" on stage less than one year ago disrupting his speech.

John Force, Kenny Bernstein In Horrific Crash

NHRA 14 time world champion John Force has been airlifted to a Dallas area hospital following a horrific crash at over 315MPH with drag racing legend Kenny Bernstein who returned to the seat of a nitro funnycar after retiring a few years back. Force was diagnosed with two broken legs, an arm or hand injury and possible concussion but was talking with crew, family and anyone else within range.

His main concern?
Is Bernstein okay?

Kenny Bernstein was uninjured in the accident which happened just past the finish line when his 2007 Dodge Charger funnycar made a move toward the center line hitting one of the timing cones in the center of the track. It appeared that debris from the cone may have caused one of Force's tires to go down and come apart. The resulting impact cut Force's car in half with the drivers cockpit, rearend, rear wheels and parachutes stopping along the retaining wall while the front half of Force's car including the engine, impacted Bernstein's car and continued down the track and into the sand trap.

Daughter Ashley Force (voted AOL's "Hottest Athlete in Sports") following first and second round wins withdrew from the semifinals to be with her father at the hospital.

Televised coverage of the complete NHRA O'Reilly Fall Nationals from the Texas Motorplex will air this evening at 6pm central on ESPN2 and ESPN2HD.

Don't Get "Robbed" Oklahoma

Red flags went up when calls to "Reform Oklahoma's Ballots" appeared on local radical extreme leftwing blogs like Okie Funk and Blue Oklahoma.
Reminders of other states where similar measures and tactics were employed immediately came to mind like Ohio's "Reform Ohio Now" or RON (as it was called back in 2005) following Vietnam protester John Kerry's (D) loss to President George Bush (R).

It's funny (not ha-ha funny, the other kind) that for 100 years during Democrat control of the Oklahoma congress there were no calls for Reforming Oklahoma's Ballot process, but since Republicans have started winning elections (and control).... suddenly Democrats apparently have no other choice but to ROB.

Oklahoma Democrats are scrambling to try and find a way to stop the Republican takeover of the state House and Senate, but conventional means (convincing voters) is not working.
So, if your football team can't score points, it's time to "reform" the scoreboard is the thinking and Reforming Oklahoma's Ballot (ROB) is the plan of attack. Unable to score points with voters, Democrats are maneuvering to revamp the scoring system and assure success by "ROB", by hook or by crook.

One clue to their intentions is the fact that few if any details are provided for just HOW they would ROB and reform the voting process (if given the chance).

Do you really want illegal aliens voting in Oklahoma's elections?
Do you really want dead people "voting" in our elections?
How about convicted criminals?
Do you really want people voting multiple times from multiple locations in Oklahoma?
These are ALL things that Democrats and groups like ACORN have been caught doing and promoting during the past 2 elections, and now it appears Democrats plan to ROB and do the same things here in the Sooner state.

So when you hear the Democrats and liberals proclaiming that they plan to ROB and reform the voting process in Oklahoma, ...take them at their word.
They already believe the 2000 and 2004 elections were stolen from them, so robbing voters is justified in their view.

Oklahoma, don't get "Robbed" and don't be fooled.
Say NO to the ROBbers.
Say NO to Democrats.
Keep Oklahoma's election process credible, it worked fine for Democrats for the first 100 years.

UPDATE: 9/29/07- A supporter of OBAR (Oklahoma Ballat Access Reform) or ROB as I have referred to it above took issue (in my comments and at his blog) with my unwillingness to simply support "Ballot Reform" without FIRST knowing in FULL exactly what they plan to reform and how they plan to reform it. (Silly me).
He goes to great pain to discredit my wondering if this might somehow help Democrats...(more below)
OBAR tout's (more choices) adding any and all candidates from any and all political parties to the ballot as the reason to supporting Reforming Oklahoma's Ballots. Who doesn't like MORE choices? More is always better, right?

America: Not Feeling The Love

A comment by 2007 Oklahoma Political blogger of the Year nominee OklahomaLefty regarding my calling Okie Funk an "America Hater" (see Pinheads for Peace) got me to doing a little looking around at the left in general and their outright HATRED for this country. (More on this below)

Now, doing a list of things Okie Funk hates about America is far too easy, could fill several posts and two minutes at his blog will confirm this for anyone with the stomach.
I think that even Dochoc (Okie Funk) himself would have to agree with me that he absolutely, positively hates George Bush's (and the neocon/Christian right's) America... and in reality, at least for now, George Bush's America is America... in terms of control of policy and in the eyes of the world, like it or not, at least for now) It is safe to say that Okie Funk hates America as it exists currently.

So I thought in this case it might be more fun to point out that Dochoc not only hates America but also hates Oklahoma to the point of urging everyone to be ready to leave the state

LMAO, and need I remind you, THIS is from a college professor at UCO! Not exactly a ringing endorsement for moving TO Oklahoma, creating new jobs or increasing the economy is it? But for some reason I notice he is still hanging around though.... and still hating (Bush's) America. It probably has something to do with that big fat government paycheck he gets paid with taxes collected from actual working people he claims are creating a Theocratic Oklahoma.

Enough with Dr. Hochenauer... I suspect that if the University learned that he is teaching Liberal Indocrination 101, he might be looking for a new gig.... and a new state if what he says is true.

Unless we teach our children about the men and women who came before them and died so that we and others may live in peace, who will be the men and women who stand up and fight so that others may live in peace 50, 100, 200 years from now?
Who is teaching the children that peace has a price (it has nothing to do with a pinwheel) and it is the brave who pay it on their behalf?
Who is teaching them that "peace at any price" is not peace at all.

"American children growing up today have been taught on some level by the neoconservative Republican juggernaut that war and military occupation are good things.

The Iraq invasion and ensuing occupation is in its fifth year with no end in sight. Will these children be prone to more violence? This is a non-partisan event that simply asks students “to reflect on peace: A state of calm and tranquility, with no anxiety or violence.”

The event is part of the national Pinwheels For Peace program."

After spewing nothing but Bush hating lies as reasons to go to the Pinwheels for Peace antiwar protest, Okie Funk writes... "This is a Non partisan event that simply asks students to reflect on peace...zzzzz"

I say that statement requires one to engage in "the willing suspension of disbelief".

Because people like Doc Kurt and/or like-minded anti-war pinheads will be there, makes it a partisan event. Democrat and liberal websites have promoted it and have made it partisan, antiwar cutnrun Democrats will be onstage making it partisan and the Democrat "Governor Pinwheel" himself is the grand pooohhpaah of the event. Make no mistake,... it is partisan alright... but worse, it's manipulative of children for political gain.

They have no shame, and there is obviously no end to what these people will do to defeat George Bush.

I'm gonna' try to make this short and not too sweet.

The "Pinwheels For Peace" anti-war protest uses school children as human shields/billboards for their anti-Bush, anti-war, pro-Democrat agenda and I thing it is despicable. These left-over 60's, flower-power, peace/love/rocknroll, Vietnam era moonbats are out of control.

We are at war boys and girls and who's war is it?
"Bush's war".

Call it The New Christianism?

The so-called "Christian Left" is the latest and greatest, new and improved name for the same old thing repackaged with a big shiny bow on it.

It's not like they don't keep trying either...
Communist? Sounds too scary,
Socialist? Still too scary,
Leftist? naw, too honest,
Populist? uhhh...not so much... (**)
Liberal? naw, sounds too ....liberal,
Progessive? hmmm, didn't work either...

However with big Republican wins in the 2000 and 2004 elections being credited (by the main stream media) to the so-called "Christian right", it should be obvious what their next new name was gonna be.

Written about, back in 2005 at the George Mason University History News Network, the new "Christian Left" has deep roots here in Oklahoma and might even lay claim to the foundation of the philosophy of the entire current movement.
Woody Guthrie (pictured above in 1945) is a legend in Oklahoma particularly among the left and of course music buffs, but arguably could be considered the very founder of the New Christian Left.

Woody Guthrie wrote "This Land Is Your Land" (originally titled "God Blessed America") as a rebuttal to "God Bless America" among many other famous tunes, but as we all know there was much-much more to Woody Guthrie than just his tunes.
Woody had a problem and a rather unique but logical (to some) way of solving it.
He studied communism, wrote for the communist paper, performed for great socialists and communists in and out of the country and desperately wanted to be a communist, but his strong belief in Jesus prevented his inclusion among the party membership. Guthrie was baptized into the Church of Christ, had a strong belief in Jesus Christ and for religion but organized faith was too restrictive and he rarely attended church... it just didn't fit exactly.
So, being the highly creative and clever fellow that he was, (and living in a free country) he combined the two into his own Christian/ Communist philosophy on life.

"Guthrie failed to perceive his Christianity as inconsistent with his sympathy for the Communist Party. To the folk singer, communism was nothing more than the support for the common people preached by Jesus. In one of his voluminous journals, Guthrie wrote, “When there shall be no want among you, because you’ll own everything in common."

This was no secret as you can see from Socialist based groups like the one below praising Woody Guthrie's philosophy... not from right-wing hate sites as some claimed.

Oklahoma Central University college professor, political pundit and local blogger Kurt Hochenbauer who quotes Guthrie's "All you fascists are bound to lose" line on his blog Okie Funk claims that stories of Guthrie being a Communist are just right-wing propaganda in his post "The Heroic Legacy of Woody Guthrie". So whether it is debatable if Woody Guthrie was a "member" of the communist party or not, it's not really important, what we know now... ...(but little did Woody know), was that he might be the founder and brainchild of a "New Christian Left" Democrat party scheme decades after his death.

In Oklahoma, we have an active thriving franchise of the self described "Christian Left" at the Mayflower Community Church (United Church of Christ) which I have written about here.
I'll bet you a Dr.Pepper that Dr. Rev. Robin Meyers (and congregation) know a lot about Woody Guthrie and also know a lot about preaching the leftist agenda and preaching partisan Democrat politics from the pulpit on Sunday mornings while condemning Republicans for using religion to get votes,... but that's another story in itself (link above).

Another tactic of the New Christian Left is to play the part of the poor victim...Democrat political pundit/college professor Dr. Kurt Hochenbauer (Okie Funk) writes ..

However, Dr Kurt goes on to say...

"I read (Rev Robin) Meyers column as I was drinking a beer at the Cock O’ The Walk in Oklahoma City. Looking around the bar afterwards, I was struck by the lack of any obvious religious expressions among the clientele, yet there was Meyers’ column in the “cool” local newspaper, which has its own rack right there in the bar’s foyer area. It seemed so oppressive to me. In Oklahoma City, these days, you can’t even go to a bar and get away from the Jesus talk".

I have no clue what the illustrious Doc Hochenbauer is referring to... I just thought it was typically hilarious doublespeak and decided to throw it in... no extra charge.

So, anyway, I've got the next new name for them... *"Christianism". Actually I got the name from (of all places) the Daily Kos where they try (and fail miserably) to make the case that the real Christians are liberals (shocking) and the rest of us are ... something else. (lol) But as usual, liberal schemes backfire in their face more often than Wiley Coyote himself.

Example: Here is the Daily Kos definition for Christianism "Christianism uses Christianity in order to further its political agenda" which is exactly what the Daily Kos and the New Christian Left is doing! Caught in their own "Acme Co." trap... again.

Here is my NEW revised and improved definition of Christianism... the combination of Christianity with Communism in order to further a political agenda. It makes perfect sense and it also fits perfectly with the ideals of the so-called New Christian Left.

But in reality, and far more likely... if Democrats keep ignoring who the real threat is (Hint: it's not Bush) their new name will be "Islamic".

What began a few posts below as merely a rebuttal to an "award winning" local blogger ended up as exposing yet another college professor (and Daily Kos contributor) indoctrinating students with their leftist political agenda. (example below from the online coursework on blogging at the University of Central Oklahoma)-

Not sure if Cindy Sheehan was watching or not, but college students in Florida got a lesson in democratic politics and free speech yesterday when a student was tasered (electro-shock therapy) for asking John Kerry an "inappropriate question" and not yielding the microphone. Note that this student was a Kerry SUPPORTER!

What was the lesson, boys and girls?
When you are given the microphone to ask a Democrat candidate a question, remember this important safety tip.
As long as your question (or statement) is an attack on Bush or Republicans or conservatives in general, you may take as long as you like to ramble on and on... and on ...and on...to infinity or until the applause from reporters dies down.
However, if your question (or statement) includes any accountability or difficulty for a Democrat candidate, ....ZAP, you've just been hit with about 50,000 volts!

UPDATE: Senator John Kerry (D) and Vietnam War protester was also "shocked" at the tasing of an innocent liberal moonbat.

“I was not aware that a taser was used until after I left the building,” he continued. “I hope that neither the student nor any of the police were injured. I regret enormously that a good healthy discussion was interrupted.”

Okie Funk Alert

This stuff is too easy.
The so-called "award winning" blog Okie Funk proves once again that they have absolutely no clue as evidenced by this statement.

"Even Oklahoma's corporate power structure believes the state needs more college graduates, but do not count on U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe to help out".

And yet just a couple of paragraphs down they say...

" Inhofe is a shill for big corporations, including major banks and oil companies"... ... he sided with the banking industry".

I hate to break the news to Okie Funk, but big corporations including the banking industry are sort of a major part of the "corporate power structure". First he says the corp power structure can't count on Inhofe then he turns around and says Inhofe is a shill for the corp power stucture... so, which is it?

More importantly however, equating federal spending on college tuition with the number of college graduates that remain (after graduating) in Oklahoma is just flat wrong-headed on several levels (which I detail below). But, it does fit the liberal template and that's all Okie Funk (and the Daily Kos) need to post this idiocy as gospel. (Here is an example of big evil corporate Oklahoma to Okie Funk)

Look, even if Oklahoma could send every resident to college (for free), ...as soon as they graduate where do they go for a high paying job... Luther, Pink, Harrah, Vian, Willow, Nicoma Park or even OKC? LOL.
Not with the anti business reputation the Oklahoma Democrat led congress (along with local city government) has established here over the past 100 years... so, ...many smart College graduates from Oklahoma do what college graduates do... the best that they can for themselves and their families by moving to a state with actual JOBS. (instead of government jobs)

Note that Colorado is the 4th highest state on the list Okie Funk references (not due to more native Coloradoan's attending college btw) with 36% of the population having a BA degree and Note that many Oklahoman's (as well as Texans and CA's) relocate to Colorado. WHY?
Aside from "the beauty of the alpine splendor" there are jobs, good jobs, high paying jobs. Why?
Colorado did (does) what was (is) necessary to attract those jobs... and thus has a large number of college grad's living in the state (not the other way around).

Colorado is ranked 10th nationally (2006) in average household earnings at just over $51,000.00/yr while Oklahoma is ranked 42nd at just over $38,000.00/yr.

Okie Funk loves to promote the ideal of small business which is great, but the mom-n-pop businesses are NOT the one's providing high paying jobs in most cases.

If OKIE FUNK and Democrats really want more college grad's to stay in Oklahoma.... then (quit whining about the situation your ilk created and) do what is necessary to keep them here (entice big companies to locate here) INSTEAD of spending more money creating highly educated employees for other states! (duh)

And who does Okie Funk blame for the lack of high paying jobs in the state? College graduates.

"...the state's two major metropolitan areas, Oklahoma City and Tulsa, do not have enough educated, highly-skilled workers to attract or sustain businesses".

So, college graduates are supposed to just wait around until jobs magically appear or it is their fault?

WARNING: Liberal Lie Approaching At Full Speed

When you hear liberals and Democrats soon claiming that well over 1 million innocent Iraqi's have been killed since the start of the Iraq war (AND YOU WILL), they are basing this claim on a new poll. ENGRAM over at BACK TALK has dissected the poll and the accuracy of such a claim wherein he has applied something very unique in modern analysis... called simple logic and basic math to their numbers and one thing is for sure... THEY DON'T ADD UP.

To achieve this staggering number of over 1,000,000 dead, ...23,000+ Iraqi's have to have been killed every month... 720+ per day (average) every day since 2003!
According to the poll 20% of these deaths are from car bombs which means that every day since the war began (according to the poll) nearly 150 Iraqi's die JUST from car bombs (4500/mo). With the media coverage we have of civilian deaths (about 200/mo) , deaths from car bombs are not likely to go unnoticed... especially not 4,200 per month (unnoticed).

ENGRAM writes...

He goes on to explain exactly what is happening with the poll and how the numbers could be so inflated, but just for the sake of argument...
Lets apply Hillary's "willing suspension of disbelief" for a moment to those inflated numbers and say that logic and math are wrong and the poll is correct.
How is Al Qaeda doing this month?

"...halfway through the month of September, only about 350 civilian total deaths have been documented. Al Qaeda has not yet contributed their share (as they surely will), but if another 350 are killed in the next 2 weeks as a result of background violence, and if al Qaeda replicates its spectacular success of August (killing 500 additional civilians), the total will still only be about 1200. As high as it is, this would be a remarkably low casualty count by the Iraqi poll standards. Thus, to help the Democrats and Moveon.org portray the surge as a failure, al Qaeda has a lot of work to do over the next two weeks. If they don't kill at least 700 Iraqis (i.e., if they don't exceed their prior record-setting total), the Democrats will be hard-pressed to continue savaging the reputation of General Petraeus".

BEHIND AND GETTING FARTHER BEHINDER...
Considering the average monthly totals for deaths documented by several groups is around 200/mo with the highest-ever death toll for one month at less than 700, Al Qaeda and the other insurgent groups had better get busy to get anywhere close to the poll numbers (23,000/mo) and keep Democrats in business.

CONCLUSION:
ENGRAM correctly projects...

"In light of that, what are the hopes and dreams of Democrats?

Go, al Qaeda, go! [i.e., if al Qaeda succeeds, Bush's troop surge will be perceived as a failure, and General "Betray Us" will not be perceived as a hero]

Moving On So Soon?

Well it "only" took 100 years, but Oklahoma lawmakers finally did something about controlling ILLEGAL migration in the state... and it's working!
Republicans with only partial control of the reins have gotten something done that Democrats couldn't do in nearly a century as reports are coming in that illegal aliens in Oklahoma are ...moving-on.

This from the McCarville Report:
The Tulsa World's Mick Hinton has a story that comes on the heels of yesterday's report that Tulsa elementary school officials have noticed Hispanic students leaving: Architects of the state's tough new immigration law said reports that Hispanic children are leaving Tulsa Public Schools indicates that the legislation is working. "Obviously, if we are talking about people who are not here legally under immigration laws, then the law is having its exact intended effect," Rep. Randy Terrill said Friday. "Certainly, I have heard the chatter that there are people particularly in northeastern Oklahoma and the Panhandle who are leaving, but we don't have any real evidence," added Terrill, R-Moore. Senator James Williamson, the Senate author of the bill, said, "The whole purpose of the law was to reduce the number of illegal immigrants in Oklahoma because it is costing taxpayers a lot of money to educate them. (Read all of Hinton's story here.)Some Tulsa area schools are seeing Hispanic students leaving as a state law targeting illegal immigrants is about to go into effect, it is being reported today. Principal Judy Feary at Kendall-Whittier Elementary says some students are seen getting into packed cars pulling a moving trailer and they don't return to class. She says some are heading back to Mexico while others are going to other states. And she says school officials are hearing others are planning to leave in October. A law passed earlier this year (see story below) takes effect November 1st which requires law officers to check the immigration status of people they arrest on felony and drunken-driving charges. The law is also intended to prevent illegal immigrants from getting jobs and many public benefits.

And of course... guess who is LEADING THE CHARGE against enforcing immigration laws or reducing the enormous drain on Oklahoma's education and health systems....

State Rep. Al Lindley, (pictured) D-Oklahoma City, is leading the charge to challenge the state's new immigration law. Four other lawmakers have joined his effort. Lindley wants a legal opinion on whether the state's new immigration law is enforceable. Lindley argues that the law requires employers to participate in a program to confirm the citizenship status of workers, yet Congress has chosen to make participation voluntary. Attorney General Drew Edmondson will assign the letter to an assistant for review, Edmondson's spokesman, Charlie Price, said. The review could take weeks. Portions of the law go into effect on November 1st. Joining Lindley are Reps. Bill Nations, D-Norman; Al McAffrey, D-Oklahoma City; Wallace Collins, D-Norman; and Scott BigHorse, D-Pawhuska.

Educating the Uneducatable

Below is an excellent post by registered Democrat, left of center research professor and concerned American "Engram" over at the Back-Talk blog.
I suggest anyone who thinks that I represent an uneducated, hateful, unfair or unsubstantiated representation of the liberal view on Iraq or of the current situation in Iraq, by all means read Engram's work. He is no rightwing pundit or puppet of the Bush administration by any measure but clearly understands what is up, what is true and what is happening and goes to great pains to check his facts and set the record straight.

I believe however, that the left has NO INTEREST in facts, what is up, what is true or what is really happening in Iraq. Their ONLY INTEREST is getting Bush un-elected ASAP and to hell with everything else. (so prove me wrong)

DEBATING THE PURPOSE OF THE SURGE: By Engram at Back-Talk

Here is John Kerry at the Huffington Post echoing a standard left talking point about the troop surge in Iraq:

The Escalation Didn't Work

The escalation failed to do the one and only thing it was supposed to do. The entire Iraq policy of George W. Bush has failed since the fall of Saddam Hussein's statue in Baghdad. No amount of parsing or spinning can change those simple facts: the escalation is and was the wrong answer.
...
A political solution in Iraq cannot come about without a clear deadline on where our troops will be pulling out. Only Iraqis can end this civil war, and they aren't - and won't be - making any progress with an open-ended, massive presence by our military in their country.
...
And by the way -- go read all of the statements at the time about the "reason" for the escalation - it was to buy political breathing room for Iraqis to compromise. Period. It hasn't happened.

OK, I will go read all the statements about the reason for the troop surge because I sincerely doubt that John Kerry did.

George Will, who is ordinarily capable of formulating an independent thought, neglects to do so in his very similar assessment of the situation:

By Bush's Own Standard, Surge Has Failed

Those who today stridently insist that the surge has succeeded also say they are especially supportive of the president, Petraeus and the military generally. But at the beginning of the surge, both Petraeus and the president defined success in a way that took the achievement of success out of America's hands.

The purpose of the surge, they said, is to buy time -- "breathing space," the president says -- for Iraqi political reconciliation. Because progress toward that has been negligible, there is no satisfactory answer to this question: What is the U.S. military mission in Iraq?

According to this oft-repeated "analysis," the only purpose of the surge was to allow the Iraqi government time to get their political act together. If so, then if we take John Kerry's advice to "...go read all of the statements at the time about the 'reason' for the escalation," we'll discover that this is an accurate way to portray the situation.

George Bush explained the rationale for the troop surge to the American people in a speech to the nation on January 10, 2007. If John Kerry and George Will (and legions of like-minded left-wing commentators) are right, then one should be able read that speech and easily extract the message that the only purpose of the troop surge was to give Iraqi politicians some breathing space. Right? Let's take a look.

Bush's speech can be found here. For starters, it is remarkable in that it displays an understanding of some most fundamental points about what has happened in Iraq over the last year and a half. Most people are unaware of these basic points, and they find Bush to be unpersuasive, but these are the facts:

When I addressed you just over a year ago, nearly 12 million Iraqis had cast their ballots for a unified and democratic nation. The elections of 2005 were a stunning achievement. We thought that these elections would bring the Iraqis together, and that as we trained Iraqi security forces we could accomplish our mission with fewer American troops.

But in 2006, the opposite happened. The violence in Iraq -- particularly in Baghdad -- overwhelmed the political gains the Iraqis had made. Al Qaeda terrorists and Sunni insurgents recognized the mortal danger that Iraq's elections posed for their cause, and they responded with outrageous acts of murder aimed at innocent Iraqis. They blew up one of the holiest shrines in Shia Islam -- the Golden Mosque of Samarra -- in a calculated effort to provoke Iraq's Shia population to retaliate. Their strategy worked. Radical Shia elements, some supported by Iran, formed death squads. And the result was a vicious cycle of sectarian violence that continues today.

All evidence -- evidence that I have repeatedly summarized in excruciating detail -- supports this synopsis of progress (and lack thereof) in Iraq. The setback in Iraq was sudden. And the "strategy" Bush refers to is al Qaeda's strategy, one that was conceived by Zarqawi (and one that troop-withdrawal advocates never mention for some odd reason).

In his speech, Bush does, indeed, urge the Iraqis to make political progress and notes that now (i.e., during the troop surge) is the time for them do it:

I've made it clear to the Prime Minister and Iraq's other leaders that America's commitment is not open-ended. If the Iraqi government does not follow through on its promises, it will lose the support of the American people -- and it will lose the support of the Iraqi people. Now is the time to act. The Prime Minister understands this.

My point is not that Kerry and Will are wrong to suggest that, according to Bush, one purpose of the troop surge was to give Iraqi politicians the breathing space they need to achieve a political consensus (and that escalating sectarian violence was making that impossible). My point is that Kerry and Will and legions of like-minded left-wing commentators are wrong to suggest that this was the primary purpose of the troop surge. In truth, it was one stated purpose, and it was secondary to another, more important, purpose. Bush was crystal clear about the primary purpose of the troop surge, and he devoted a lot more time to that issue than to the "political reconciliation" issue (so I'm not sure how Kerry and Will missed it):

As we make these changes, we will continue to pursue al Qaeda and foreign fighters. Al Qaeda is still active in Iraq. Its home base is Anbar Province. Al Qaeda has helped make Anbar the most violent area of Iraq outside the capital. A captured al Qaeda document describes the terrorists' plan to infiltrate and seize control of the province. This would bring al Qaeda closer to its goals of taking down Iraq's democracy, building a radical Islamic empire, and launching new attacks on the United States at home and abroad.

Our military forces in Anbar are killing and capturing al Qaeda leaders, and they are protecting the local population. Recently, local tribal leaders have begun to show their willingness to take on al Qaeda. And as a result, our commanders believe we have an opportunity to deal a serious blow to the terrorists. So I have given orders to increase American forces in Anbar Province by 4,000 troops. These troops will work with Iraqi and tribal forces to keep up the pressure on the terrorists. America's men and women in uniform took away al Qaeda's safe haven in Afghanistan -- and we will not allow them to re-establish it in Iraq.

If you think that handing al Qaeda a victory right now is the correct thing to do because the Iraqis cannot seem to get their act together, then come right out and say so. John Kerry and George Will are not bold enough to do that. That's why they do what Democrats (and some Republicans) have done from the very beginning: completely ignore the issue of al Qaeda in Iraq, as if it is so utterly inconsequential that you can write an entire column on the subject without even bringing up its name. I have been highlighting this absurd phenomenon (which I long ago dubbed the "eerie code of silence") for many months now. I am simply aghast that no one else seems to notice this elephant in the room. The reason why opponents of the war in Iraq maintain their eerie code of silence about al Qaeda in Iraq is because their position instantly self-destructs if the issue is raised. That is, if you utter the words "al Qaeda" when advocating our quick withdrawal from Iraq, you are suddenly forced to choose between these two options:

1. deny that al Qaeda in Iraq exists (or deny that it is a major force)

2. accept that al Qaeda does exist and is a major force there, but deny that withdrawing from Iraq now would be tantamount to surrendering to the very terrorist organization that attacked us on 9/11

Well, which is it? John Kerry and George Will don't say. I wouldn't either if I were in their shoes. Unlike them, the incomparable Charles Krauthammer does not adopt the eerie code of silence:

The American people are not antiwar. They are anti-losing. Which means they are also anti-drift. Just carrying this battle to its successful conclusion -- independent of its larger effect of helping stabilize Iraq -- is justification enough for the surge. The turning of Sunni Iraq against al-Qaeda is a signal event in the war on terrorism. Petraeus's plan is to be allowed to see it through.

It's hard to argue with that, which is why people like Kerry and Will don't even try.

Rev. Robin Meyers Oklahoma's "Pulpit Pundit"

In case you don't know who he is... Reverend Dr. Robin Meyers is the pastor of the Mayflower Congregational Church in Oklahoma City and author of "Why The Christian Right is Wrong".
For the last 12 years, Meyers’ sermons have been broadcast in Oklahoma on Sundays at 9:30 am, KOKC AM 1520. The program has become the most listened to religious broadcast in Oklahoma. (according to their website)



Rev. Meyers is a strong advocate for separation of church and state and believes the conservative Christian right has gotten it all wrong by mixing religion and government.
Of course he has no problem mixing the two and injects his own political views on the illegal war, attacks President Bush and all conservatives directly from the pulpit as well as in the classroom where he is a Professor of Rhetoric. (Yes boys and girls, apparently there is such a thing)
So we have a Bush hater who is for separation of Church and State telling people HOW they should vote from his church pulpit and and also at public funded schools. A man who condemns conservatives for using religion and the church to promote a political agenda by using HIS religion and HIS church to promote HIS political agenda.
Separation?
Not so much.
Hypocritical?
Classic.
Meyers also preaches that the apostle Paul was gay and that God/Jesus would never claim there is only one way to heaven as well as deeply thought out questions such as "what if they gave a war and nobody came?" and "War, ...good God ya'll, ...What is it good for? ...Absolutely nothing". Yes, he really said this stuff.

BTW- Jesus did say: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me." (John 14:6)
and perhaps you remember this one- "For God So Loved the World that he gave his only begotten son, so that whosoever believes in HIM shall have eternal life." (John 3:16)

I will answer these other incredibly thought provoking questions for the good Doctor...
1- If they gave a war and nobody came, ...uhh, that would be France. (surrender)
2- War hasn't solved anything except... SLAVERY, GENOCIDE, OPPRESSION, NAZI-ISM... you know, "the little things" that don't matter.

As far as America moving toward fascism due to Bush and conservative Christians... there is a complete and total lack of evidence to support that claim, however there is much evidence to the contrary which I am prepared to go into in great detail... if anyone would like.

Iraqi's Treating U.S. as LIBERATORS

ANBAR Province in Iraq presented President Bush with a letter dedicating their success against Al Qaeda to the victims of the 9/11/2001 attacks on the WTC and US pentagon.
The letter doesn't call the US occupiers, doesn't demand U.S. withdrawal, doesn't say that Al Qaeda is only in Iraq because US soldiers are in Iraq and doesn't call for an investigation into why Bush lied about Saddam's WMD's.
It says thank you, they remember the tragedy of 9/11 and are saddened by America's loss.

This flies in the face of Democrats and liberals alike who have been claiming that Americans are killing innocent Iraqi's and not winning the hearts and minds as well as their claims that Al Qaeda has nothing to do with Iraq.
Of course this does not fit the main stream media's template for a US defeat in Iraq either, so naturally it has gone virtually unreported.

Democrats should be forced to give their "we can't win" speech to the folks in Anbar and directly to the troops in the field, instead of from hiding in their Ivory towers... if that were the case, I suspect we would be hearing a different tune.

UPDATE: 09/12/07 The price of freedom is high, very high...others must now step forward to show the Jihadi's that there are more Iraqi's against them than there are Iraq'is willing to let them take their country from them.
The locals in this area have seen violence before and plenty of it, no doubt about that. The murder of their leader should only strengthen their resolve and bring on the wrath of the US forces in cooperation with local Sunni's. The Anbar province area has been LOST by the Jihadists and it is going to stay that way.

Ultimately, those silent so-called "good liberals" that don't agree with the extreme far left, also don't matter since they are by definition..."silent".

On a local level, the leftwing moonbat Blog Okie Funk is the defending 2006 "Best Political Blog" in Oklahoma (lol) and is nominated in two categories currently for the 2007 Okie Blog awards.

The ideas and views on Okie Funk's blog are the same repeated "views" as the Daily kos, moveon.org and Code Pink spew for the most part... classic Bush Derangement Disorder with an Oklahoma twist of course.

Okie Funk and Oklahoma's Depressed Economy...
Rather than comment further on their suicidal Anti-American/pro-jihadi stance, I decided to confront Okie Funk on a more local issue.
On this so called "award winning" (image above) blog, Okie Funk continually rages about the poor and blaming (evil) corporate-America or (evil) Corporate-Oklahoma in this case, for the plight of the less fortunate and lack of higher paying jobs.
The idea that big business or business in general is responsible for the poverty rate in Oklahoma and that the government is the answer is ludicrous on several levels.

This shouldn't take us long, ... Oklahoma has been a Democratic controlled state since statehood (100 years ago) and the largest employer in Oklahoma is ... the government.
The same (Democrat controlled) government that did not do what was necessary to compete with Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico and yes even Texas for companies looking to relocate. Nor did they do what was necessary to encourage existing businesses to succeed which has resulted in more college graduates moving to a more lucrative areas of the country instead of staying and building Oklahoma.

Liberals like those at Okie Funk love to rant about the government needing to create new higher paying jobs, ...but that's what got Oklahoma into this mess... too many government jobs. And just who do YOU think they are going to tax to pay for all these new higher paying (government) jobs?
The employees. (i.e. working Oklahomans/YOU)

Okie funk also likes to promote the ideal of small business over big business and who doesn't like the idea of shopping with a small local owner of a small local store?
Okie funk neglects to think about the poor in this case, since shopping at that small mom-n-pop nearly always means spending more... sometimes a lot more for each item. Does anyone not see the conflict in their logic?

So, if Okie Funk really wants to get to the bottom of Oklahoma's economic situation and solution, they need to reverse it 180 degrees and point their finger at the Democrats who put Oklahoma in this situation and they need to snuggle up to the (evil) big-business corporations (with jobs) ... that is if they really want to help the poor... which they don't.
Unfortunately, if there weren't any so-called poor for the lefty's to prey on, they wouldn't have anything to "sell" and would be out of "business".
Okie Funk can't let that happen, not on their watch.
Their kind will disperse as much disinformation as they can in order to keep the poor and uneducated just that...poor and uneducated for future generations of liberals to "use and discard" the same way.

Senator John Kerry (D) MA (served in Vietnam) slipped up today and admitted that Al Qaeda is actually in Iraq when he said " "it's obvious that the tribal leaders simply got tired of their women, wives and daughters getting raped and murdered by Al Qaeda".
Senator Kerry (D) (60's war protester/threw away medals) was questioning 4-star General David Petraeus during the Iraq report hearings.
The point Senator Kerry (D) (picture is in the communist museum in Vietnam) was trying to make was that the surge is succeeding only because of Iraqi's taking matters into their own hands due to the U.S. military being unable to do the job. We all are well aware that Senator Kerry (claimed US military was terrorizing innocent Iraqi women and children in the middle of the night) believes it is the Americans who are doing the raping and murdering and that Al Qaeda has nothing to do with Iraq... remember "we took our eye off of the ball" in Afghanistan according to Senator Kerry (D) (married rich widow Teresa Heinz) ($).

Better luck tomorrow John(s).

General Betray-us or Liberals Betray U.S.?

For those so inclined to question the numbers or the Iraq Status Report from General David Petraeus, read what Engram over at "Back Talk" blog has put together.
He is a Professor at a research University who is admittedly left of center, but takes a more objective look at politics and of course is therefore considered an extreme right-winger by his peers.

Engram writes; "If Durbin or Walker have a problem with the statistics, they should verify those statistics for themselves. Reflexively doubting Petraeus and the U.S. military without backing up your skepticism is just indulging yourself in egocentric grandstanding. It might feel good, but it's not a useful endeavor".

Great stuff! Which by the way, Prof Engram did verify the statistics and posted them for all to see. If a college professor can verify statistical claims in a government report in his spare time, you would think a US Senator could....or not. But that wouldn't satisfy the liberal ego or make liberal contributors "feel good" in the checkbook department.

BTW, Who do Americans trust most on Iraq by a large margin?
A: Military leaders?
B: Congress?
C: Bush?
D: Daily KOS?

This one goes out to all the lib's who like to claim I never criticize Republicans and only see the bad in Liberals.
I have posted on many of my disagreements with Bush and numerous Republicans in the past, but liberals still like to accuse me of wearing blinders and only seeing the good side of Republican politicians and only the bad in Democrats. (they don't actually read conservative opinions, they just assume)
They don't bother to notice the number of times I have posted the Will Rogers (D) OK quote that goes something like...
"you don't have to be around politics very long to realize that each party is worse than the other"

So lets get to it...
Bush is wrong on the borders and illegal immigration. That's right, Bush is wrong. Flat wrong, dead wrong, just plain wrong. Conservatives want the immigration laws enforced BEFORE they try to come up with a comprehensive plan for the 12-20 million illegal aliens.
Chuck Hagel needs to retire. Good riddance, buh-bye.
Airport sexpot Craig in Idaho needs to resign immediately if not sooner. (wide stance or not)
Arlen Specter should resign also. ASAP...buh-bye.
Bush and Republicans are wrong for not making English the official language.
Republicans in general were wrong for not building the fence and securing the borders as promised.
Republicans are wrong for not protecting marriage (1man+1woman), wrong for not rounding up illegals, wrong for not making the tax cuts permanent when they had the chance.

Gulianni is wrong about abortion and looks a little too much like Mr. Magoo.
Ron Paul possibly should be locked up and tested for insanity.
Condi Rice is too polite and nice.
Mitt Romney is too slick, tan, stiff and pre-programmed.
Laura Bush is short and too nice.
And finally, Cheney was wrong for not taking Kerry, Gore, Edwards, Kucinich, Clark and Clinton (either one) hunting instead of his best friend.

Now on the Democrat side...
Joe Liberman is a great American (even though I disagree with him on several issues)
John F Kennedy was a great American (even though I disagreed with him on several issues)
Zell Miller is a Democrat that I respect and could possibly supported and voted for under the right conditions.
John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Algore, Madeline Albright, Nancy Pelosi, Joe Wilson and General Wesley Clark had it right about Saddam (before they all got a bad case of Bush Derangement Disorder and changed their story 180 degrees)

There ya' go libs, now shut up about me not criticizing Repubs...

Now, having said all that, my (our) choice is still to select between politicians that...
A: Ignore the threat of Islamic Jihadi's, ignore the connection between Iraq and the Islamic Jihadi's, meet and side with enemies of the United States during a time of war, blame Bush for everything (including the attacks on 9/11: 49%) and offer solutions to nothing, while promoting abortion, advocating more gun restrictions, promising to raise taxes seeking to appoint liberal judges to impose new law(s) without congress actually writing law.

Or politicians that...
B: Understand and are actively engaged in the war with radical Islamic Jihadi's, understand what a loss to those Islamic Jihadi's in Iraq would mean for Americans and the world, support the unborn, support the 2nd ammendment, protect traditional marriage, lowering taxes, promoting business and appointing judges that don't write new laws from the bench.

Politicians from BOTH sides are guilty of being human however we cannot afford to have a man (or woman) in the white house who is willing to put the country at risk in the form of blackmail resulting from a mistress, airport bathroom hanky-panky or not having sex with that woman in the back of a limo somewhere. Politicians from BOTH sides are going to have some shady deal(s) somewhere in the closet or woodpile, no one is perfect.

So, my (our) choice is
A: The politician who doesn't recognize the connection between the war in Iraq and the war with radical Islam, is pro-abortion, anti-gun and wants to raise my taxes.
B: The politician who supports a victory in Iraq because it is a victory against radical Islam, is pro-life, pro 2nd ammendment, supports border enforcement and favors lower taxes...

A: Pacifists, Socialists & Communist wannabe's
B: Warmongers, Capitalists & holier than thou Christians

Since in my opinion the war against radical Islam is the single most important issue of our lifetime... you can guess which one I'm going with and it has NOTHING to do with (R) or (D)'s, just the issues.

Now, do you wish to debate the issues one by one?

From Al Jazeera: In his latest propaganda film (documentary to liberals), Osama Bin Laden may not have entered the Presidential race but he makes a desperate plea to Democrats and the anti-war left... to Stop Bush and Cheney (before it's too late) or else.
Sounding a lot like Baghdad Bob, Osama claims victory where he has suffered defeat, threatens American bloodshed where Al Qaeda is actually losing badly and again urges Democrats and liberals to do what they promised him they would do... stop Bush before Bush wipes him and the rest of his throatcutting thugs off of the planet... and by the way... he urges, please hurry...or else.

I'm not sure that his new shoe-black beard is gonna scare anybody, nor is it going to entice many suicidal Islamic nutjobs to strap on a bomb or step in front of an American bullet. It's only a matter of time now, the world is getting smaller and smaller for OBL.

Maybe it's about time for Osama to strap on a bomb-ah.
Unless he prefers to end up like Saddam... hiding in a spider hole, begging US soldiers to "please don't hurt me".

Surge Ends Civil War Talk

Here is another sure sign that the surge is not only working, but working better than expected.
What two words have you not heard used lately when listening to the news media or the Democrat talking points (same thing)?

We have heard from just about everyone who has visited the war and also from those fighting in theater that the SURGE IS WORKING, violence is down significantly and Iraqi's are working WITH U.S. troops to find Al Qaeda and Iranian Islamic radicals as well as fighting them on their own.... but no mention of the so-called "civil war" that the American news media and Democrat party (same thing) were so fond of mentioning every day - 50x per day, for the past year or longer.

This leaves me wondering... how long after Iraq is stable and a friend to the US can the Democrats and news media (same thing) hold on to their dream of civil war and American DEFEAT?

Osama Video Expected, Democrats Scramble

Not to be outdone by Fred Thompson's big announcement on the Tonight Show, Barahma Osama, errrr Binlama Obama, uhhhh... Osamabama mama, uhhh I mean Osama Bin Laden is expected to release a new video announcing his candidacy for President of the United States.
"Since I already have the full support of the entire Democrat party, I figured I might as well enter the presidential race now rather than waiting" Bin Laden reportedly said to a handful of hungry followers at an impromptu rally in a cave somewhere in the mountains near the Afghanistan border today. "Bring on that two bit "B" list Hollywood actor and his trophy wife", "that adulterer Mayor from NY and that infidel Mormon too"... "I will slaughter them all...(at the polls of course)".

Admittedly there are problems to work out with citizenship and other issues but Democrats are confident those problems can be worked out.

Reid also said this should signal the end of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan or the so-called "war on terror". "With Osama in the presidential race, I don't see any way that Bush and Cheney can continue this illegal war against a candidate for President, I mean that is surely against the Constitution and all that this country was founded on. We expect the war to be over within 24 hours of the release of Mr. Laden's new video and announcement of his candidacy for President of the United States".

Reid added "God bles,....errrr excuse me,... Allah bless America".

Bin Laden is expected to select former Muslim Barack Obama as his VP creating the "Osama-bama in 08" ticket.
In other news, Bin Laden said Hillary Clinton will be executed along with her unfaithful adulterer husband following the election according to Islamic law. All other candidates will announce their conversion to Islam and their new Muslim names within 1 week or will be executed according to Islamic law. All homosexuals will be rounded up and executed according to Islamic law. All others will have a reasonable amount of time to convert to Islam or be executed according to Islamic law.

Coming in second place is Senator Chuck Schumer (D) NY who said that the surge is working... in spite of the US military, NOT due to the US military. The same people who have been calling for Iraqi's to stand up to Al Qaeda are now condemning the fact that Iraqi's are standing up to the terrorists and working WITH US troops in the process.

The Libs are at it again, this time they used their cell phones to jam the Republican Debate poll in favor of... you guessed it, anti-war candidate Ron Paul.
Ron Paul has less chance of winning the Republican nomination than I do... and I'm not running.

So for the next Democrat Debate we all need to somehow write-in Joe Liberman or draft Zell Miller as the clear choice for the Democrat Presidential candidate.

What a pathetic bunch of losers the libs that voted in the Republican poll are... just like the callers on Cspan, I think this is a sign that they need to check ID's, voter cards etc. during the Republican primaries to weed out the Democrat posers and fraudulent voters.

Ron Paul is the equivalent of what bloggers like to call.... "a troll" to some degree. More of a Libertarian in my opinion than a Republican, Paul is referred to as "Dr. No" due his voting record and is generally for doing away with most government agencies.... like Homeland Security for instance.
In the debate, Paul (R) TX was throwing out lines and accusations designed to inflame and agitate the rest of the candidates...(to the applause of Democrats and liberals everywhere) imagine for a minute someone like Newt Gingrich at the Democratic debates, pretending to be a Democrat.

What a sham, typical of the left however... it fits right in with registering dead people to vote and voting multiple times in 2000 and again in '04 and again in '06.

Here this pressure is to block JihadWatch as a hate-speech site on their servers, as well as excoriate Spencer and his site for espousing hate. Also, the intention of this essay is to rebuke the Left, who have embraced dhimmitude, for their hypocritical stance towards First Amendment rights.

I was inspired by a well-written article (White Jihadists) from Erik Rush, a contributor of social commentary to numerous print and online publications, and a Staff Writer for the New Media Alliance, Inc., and is acting Associate Editor and Publisher of TheRealityCheck.org.

We’ve heard for years now that President Bush, Vice President Cheney and his hoards of neocons have used stormtrooper-like tactics to usurp the Constitution, thus creating a police-state (I can’t make this stuff up). “Respected” media institutions like the New York Times, in a outright act of sedition, exposed a secret NSA electronic wiretapping program in 2005.

Yet, in one of the most frightening forms of legislation ever witnessed, we’ve seen the Democrats attempt to stifle free speech with HR 192, prepared for presentation to the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security. This bill, essentially, would stifle free RELIGIOUS speech. According to Brad Dacus, as cited in World News Daily, “the misuse of "hate crimes" laws that give those claiming "sexual orientation" or "gender identity" discrimination special legal rights, pointing out that such a maneuver recently was used, as WND has reported, by the Hindu American Foundation to label a long list of Christian ministry websites who promote Christian beliefs and offer the choice of those beliefs to those involved in other religions as "hate speech."

Reverend Louis Sheldon of the Traditional Values Coalition states the following, “(this bill is) an attempt by the ultra liberals and the homosexuals to force Americans to accept homosexuality and gender disturbance as equal to God's Created Order of heterosexuality.

This while Muslims, treated with kid gloves in this country by the Politically Correct Left, have practiced Free Speech endlessly with their attacks against Christians and Jews.

Furthermore, the Liberals, notably Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein, have attempted to resurrect a piece of legislation that would require radio stations to broadcast liberal and conservative talk radio evenly. This legislation is overwhelmingly political in nature, as efforts to revive liberal radio ventures like Air American have ended in abject failure on multiple occasions.

It’s telling that groups like MoveOn.org have staged a full frontal attack on people like Congressman Brian Baird. For those of you who don’t know, Baird is a Democrat, who while opposed to the Iraq War, visited Iraq and noted the successes of the surge. Upon return, Baird instructed the masses that it would be wise to exercise restraint and allow the surge time for complete success.

The Daily Kos has jumped in on the action, castigating, often maliciously and obscenely, Democrats like Baird and others who share his beliefs. Ironically, it is this form of subjugation to stifle dissent that has shown the Left’s true colors.

It’s pretty telling, the party that advocates the rights of the people, actually advocates the rights of a FEW people. It’s obscene how destructive this Democratic party has become; can anyone see our country awash in flames because of them?"

NHRA Nitro Funnycar driver Ashley Force easily defeated NE Patriots QB Tom Brady to win the "Worlds Hottest Athlete" competition held by AOL Sports this past weekend.

Force defeated Fastpitch Softball Pitcher Jennie Finch in the "Hottest Women" final after easily winning round after round of voting including a semi-final match-up vs Indycar hopeful Danica Patrick before securing the overall title "Hottest Athlete" over Brady.

Like her father drag racing legend John Force, Ashley is very humble and straight forward about the whole deal.

So, You Enjoy Going To The Doctor?

Under Democrat Presidential Candidate John Edwards healthcare plan, you will be required to make regular visits to the doctor whether you need go, want to go... or not!
Edwards announced that Democrats believe you (and I) are not smart enough to know when you (and I) are sick enough to go to the doctor... so you (and I) need to go to the doctor so he can tell you and I how you and I feel... based on the government standards for "feeling good".

Imagine going to the department of motor vehicle office or to a VA hospital once or twice a month (for half a day) even if you don't need a new tag for the car or aren't a veteran who is ill.
Please take a number and sit in the hallway until you are called.

Doctors offices already overbook to the point that if you have a 1:00 appointment, you arrive at 12:55, wait in the front office for 20 mins, then they put you in a room for another 20-30 mins and then a nurse comes in and visits for a minute... another 20 minutes and the doctor finally drops in.
You are lucky to get out by 4 or 5:00.

Now, multiply the number of patients by 10 or 20 and there you go.
Insanity, chaos... or in other words, just like any government run operation you have ever visited, lousy service.
